திருச்சியில் முன்னால் அமைச்சர் K.N.நேருவின் தம்பி ராமஜெயம் கடந்த 29.03.2012 அன்று மர்மமான முறையில் கொல்லப்பட்டார்.!
கடந்த தி.மு.க ஆட்சியில் தனது அண்ணன் K.N.நேருவின் அனைத்து அரசுத்துறை, கட்சி சம்பந்தமான எல்லா பேரங்களுக்கும் இடைத்தரகராக இருந்தவர்தான் இந்த ராமஜயம். திடீர் பணக்கார அரசியல் ரவுடிகளின் பண்பான ரியல்எஸ்டேட், கல்குவாரி கான்ட்ராக்ட் , கடத்தல், கட்டப்பஞ்சாயத்து என சகல வழிகளிலும் சாம்ராஜ்யத்தை விரிவு படுத்தியதும், கோடிக்கணக்கில் சொத்து சேர்த்தும் இந்த வகையில்தான்.
நிலபேரங்கள், வீடு, ஹோட்டல்கள் இவரால் வளைக்கப் பட்டபோதும், கட்சியில் உள்ள பிணக்குகள்கூட இவர் தலையீடு இல்லாமல் முடிவது கிடையாது. தி.மு.க தலைவரின் வாரிசுகள் வரும் போதும் போகும் போதும் தி.மு.கவின் தலைமையின் தனி கவனத்தை ஈக்கும்படி செயல்பட்டதுடன் தனது உறவுக்காரர் நெப்போலியனையே ஓரங்கட்டியதும் இந்த வகையில்தான்.
திருச்சியில் சாதாரண ஏர்செல் நிறுவனத்தின் ஏஜண்டாக செயல்பட்ட(Managing Director) காரணத்தால் M D என்ற அடைமொழியுடன் அழைக்கப்பட்டார். அண்ணன் அமைச்சர் என்பதால் அரசு அதிகாரிகள் , நில உரிமையாளர்கள், என சகல பிரிவினரையும் மிரட்டி காரியம் சாதித்தனர். இதனால்தான் அமைச்சரின் இலாக்காவில் உள்ள வேலை வாய்ப்புகளுக்கு ஒரு தொகை நிர்ணயித்து வசுலித்தும், குவாரி கான்ட்ராக்ட் முதல் ரியல் எஸ்டேட் வரை, ‘ஜனனி’ மினரல்ஸ், ‘கேர் காலேஜ்’ என தனது சாம்ராஜ்ஜியத்தை சிங்கப்பூர், மலேசியா, இந்தோனேஷியா, தென் ஆப்ரிக்கா என பரந்து விரிந்த வர்த்தக தொடர்பு மூலமாகவும் பல ஆயிரம் கோடிக்கு அதிபதியாகவும் மாறினார்.
இந்த காலகட்டத்தில் தான் திருச்சியில் 2007-ல் நில அதிபர் துரைராஜ் காரில் உயிரோடு எரித்து கொன்ற வழக்கிலும் , அதே நிலத்தில் தங்கராஜ் என்பவர் தற்கொலை செய்து கொண்டதிலும் , ராஜெயத்தின் தலையீடு உள்ளதாக காவல்துறை சந்தேகித்தது. ‘கலைஞர் அறிவாலயம்’ , காஞ்சனா பிளாசா, மாயாஸ் ஹோட்டல், பிரபல SRM மருத்துவக்கல்லூரி(‘பாரிவேந்தர் பச்சைமுத்து உடையார்’) கட்டுவது உள்ளிட்ட பிரச்சனையில் மிரட்டப்பட்டதும் திருச்சி மக்கள் அறிந்தது தான். நில அபகரிப்பு நடந்ததாக சில வழக்குகள் தற்சமயம் பதிவு செய்து விசாரிக்க பட்டுவந்தது.
ஆளும் அ.தி.மு.க தலைவி ஜெயலலிதா சட்டமன்ற தேர்தலின் போது வாக்கு சேகரிக்க சென்ற இடமெல்லாம் தி.மு.க அமைச்சர்களை விட ராமஜயத்தை கடுமையாக விமர்சித்தார். திருச்சியில் வாக்கு கேட்டபோது திருச்சியை ‘இந்த கொள்ளை கும்பலிடமிருந்து மீட்க வாய்ப்பு தாருங்கள் ‘ என்று ஓட்டு கேட்டார். நேரு குடும்பத்தின் மீது அரசியலை தாண்டி எரிச்சலூடன் ஜெ அணுகுவதற்கு காரணம் ‘அழகிரி பாணி’ அரசியலில் ராமஜெயம் கைதேர்ந்தவர் என்பதுதான். வாகன விபத்தில் மரணமடைந்த சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினரும், மற்றொரு தீடிர் பணக்கார அரசியல் ரவுடியுமான மரியம் பிச்சை இறப்பை திசைதிருப்பி K.N.நேரு குடும்பத்தினர் மீதும், தி.மு.க அலுவலகம் மீதும் அ.தி.மு.க குண்டர்கள் தாக்குதல் தொடுத்தது வாசகர்களுக்கு நினைவிருக்கும். இப்படி பலதரப்பினருக்கும் ஆளும் அ.தி.மு.கவுக்கும் தலைவலியாக கருதப்பட்ட ராமஜெயம் கடத்தி படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்டார் என்பது ஆச்சரியமல்ல !
மர்மங்கள் நிறைந்த அவரது வளர்ச்சி பாதை ஓட்டுபொறுக்கி அரசியலை ருசித்தவர்கள் வளரும் அதே பாதைதான். போலிசு – அதிகார வர்க்கம், நீதிமன்றங்கள் என அனைத்தும் இப்படிபட்ட திடீர் பணக்கார அரசியல் ரவுடிகளை உருவாக்கி கொண்டிருக்கிறது. மறுகாலனியாக்க சுழல் அவர்களின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு பெரிதும் வாய்ப்பை வளர்த்திருக்கிறது.
இவரது கொலை மர்மமாகவே நீடிக்கும் நிலையில் பத்திரிக்கைகளும், மக்களும் ஆளாளுக்கு ஓரு வகையில் பேசிக் கொண்டுள்ளனர். இன்று தூத்துக்குடி பெண் கவுன்சிலர் பிடிபட்டதாக செய்தி வந்துள்ளது.
கொலை எப்படி நடந்தது ! யார் செய்தார்கள் என்ற புலனாய்வுகள் ஒரு புறமிருக்கட்டும். தனது அண்ணனின் அரசியல் செல்வாக்கைப் பயன்படுத்தி ரவுடி ராஜ்ஜியத்தை உருவாக்கி அதனுடன் தொழில் சாம்ராஜ்ஜியத்தை பலபடுத்திய புதிய பாணியிலான திடீர் அரசியல் ரவுடிதான் ராமஜயம்.
இவர்களது தாதா தனத்தால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களில் கீழ்நிலை மக்கள் மட்டுமல்லாமல் மேல்தட்டு பிரிவினரும் அடங்குவர். ரவுடிகளுக்கிடையிலான கோஷ்டி மோதலும் கூட உண்டு.
தருணத்திற்க்காக காத்திருந்த அதில் ஒருவர் தி.மு.க ஆட்சியை இழந்த தருணத்தில் வேலையை முடித்துள்ளார் என்பது மட்டும் அப்பட்டமான உண்மை.! தி.மு.க, அ.தி.மு.க இரு ஆட்சிக்காலங்களிலும் இத்தகைய அதிகார சண்டைகள் வழமையாக நடக்கும் ஒன்றுதான். அதே நேரம் இரு ஆட்சிகளிலும் இரு தரப்பு காண்ட்ராக்ட் முதலாளிகள் எதிர் தரப்பிற்கு கப்பம் கட்டி விட்டு தொழிலை செவ்வனே தொடர்வதும் வாடிக்கையான ஒன்றுதான். அதே நேரம் இதில் ஏகபோகமாக செயல்படுபவர்கள் மட்டும் எதிர்தரப்பு ஆட்சியின் போது சட்டபூர்வமாகவோ, சட்ட விரோதமாகவோ வேட்டையாடப்படுவார்கள்.
ஜெயா ஆட்சியில் தி.மு.க பிரமுகர்கள் மீது சொத்து குவிப்பு வழக்குகள், நில மோசடி வழக்குகள் என்று தீவிரமாக நடந்து வரும் வேளையில்தான் அது போதாது என்று ராமஜெயம் கொல்லப்பட்டிருக்கிறார். இந்த அரசியல் சூழ்நிலையில் குறிப்பிட்ட எதிர்தரப்பினர் பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்டு அவரை கொன்றிருக்கின்றனர். இதில் யார் கொன்றார்கள் என்பதை விட இத்தகைய கொலைகளுக்கும், கொள்ளைக்கும் காரணமான திடீர் பணக்கார அரசியல் ரவுடிகளை தோற்றுவிக்கும் அரசியல் – சமூக சூழ்நிலையைத்தான் நாம் அறிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்.

this is a good link and a good analysis but there are some problems with the reservation system.
1. So many students get reservation to study in big colleges but a lot of them study is poor government schools.The only guys who take advantage of reservation and study well in big colleges are the educated urban dalits,whereas the real guy who is deserving from a rural area gets no benefit.
2. Creamy layer is an important thing, Income of parents makes a big difference and a decent enough cut off is necessary to avoid people from abusing this scheme.
3. Our schools are poor,especially for the poor students.Unless education is taken care of properly,there is no use of reservation.Because all those guys who are forced to clean toilets or do such dangerous menial jobs often leave school before 8th std or till tenth std.They are the ones who need help in any means possible.
4. OBC reservation is highly unnecessary,i know people who get fake certificates to get reservation,many of these caste hindus had enough power and money and land to study and get ahead and many of them were doing well before 1947 also.Maybe some castes like Nadars and all you can give but not to many of the land owning and ruling classes who call themselevs backward now.
5. Rural quota is a must.Infact instead of giving a full 46% to random OBCs,you can give a rural quota excluding the FCs from that.
6. Once a person gets reservation in education,in any form from the government then he should get less reservation in government jobs.How less depends on the job.For example in case of IAS officers SCs should get lesser reservation as they proceed.OBCs dont need it.
7. You go and make the school education good and strong,people ll automatically be good at the time of xiith std.

ஓதுகிற வேலை உதவாது என்று மலம் அல்ல சென்றுவிட்டார்களா என்ன? இல்லையே? யார் என்ன வேலை செய்ய விருப்பம் என்று அவரவரே தீர்மானித்துகொள்ளட்டும். அது அல்ல பிரச்சனை. இன்னார் மட்டுமே இந்த வேலையை செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று வேலி போடும்போது தான் அது சர்ச்சைகுள்ளாகிறது. ‘அனைத்து தரப்பினரும் அர்ச்சகர் ஆகலாம்’ என்ற தமிழக அரசின் அறிவிப்பு குறித்து ஓதுவார்களிடம் கேட்ட போது அவர்கள் சொன்ன பதில் “தமிழ்நாட்டில் ஏற்கனவே இருக்கும் கோவில்களில் அதை அனுமதிக்க முடியது. வேண்டுமானால் தமிழக அரசு புதிதாக கோவில்களை கட்டி அதில் நான் -பிராமிண் ஓதுவார்களை பணிக்கமர்த்தலாம்” என்று யோசனை சொன்னார்கள். ஆதாரம் (நீயா நானா நிகழ்ச்சி). சொல்லுங்க மந்திரவாதி… இப்படி அவர்கள் சொன்னதன் அர்த்தம் பரிசுத்தமான கடவுள் பக்தி/பணி என்றா நீங்கள் நினைக்கிறீர்கள்? கோவிலை நிர்மாணிப்பவன் பிராமணன் அல்ல, சிலை வடிப்பவன் பிராமணன் அல்ல,கல் சுமப்பவன் பிராமணன் அல்ல,அதை பீடத்தில் நிறுபுவன் பிராமணன் அல்ல. அப்படி நிறிவிய பின் பூஜை என்ற பெயரில் எதோ செய்துவிட்டு அதுவரை உழைத்த எவரையும் அருகே நெருங்கவிடாமல் இப்படி பகிரங்கமாக கொக்கரிக்கும் கூட்டத்தை என்ன செய்யலாம்?

Don’t you think the word HINDU infer RESERVATION? Be specific when you talk about the people. Whenever you talk about HINDUs, Reservation is inevitable.

Our family deity is in a village near Kallidaikurchi…Chadaiyudair Koil…It is believed that when a pregnant woman was going to her mother’s house along with her father, the way was flooded and woman with Chadai came to her rescue..an the child was born ..in th paddy fiel..The temple is being maintaind by both Brahmins and non-brahmins.
The beauty part is that at the Midnight pooja being conducted in the month of THAI..( all the Fridays ) fire is given by a Harijan Lady to the Brahmin Archakar to peform Karpoora Aarthi..I am seeing unity in our family deity..Even now it continues..

I have seen all the comments describing him as Rouge, Gang leader and as a criminal. Does any one of you posting this comment knows him personally? was here any incident were he lead some criminal or goonda gangs in committing atrocities or crime? Two guys finish exactly at the same time
Who is a better runner (we are not debating about the winner – we are telling only about the better runner)
1. One who started late.
2. One who did not have proper shoes.
3. One who did not have a coach.
What is wrong in giving priority to the guy without proper shoes as he would have scored better if he had the same shoes and who has a talent in him to prosper….
Now come to the main part
Students from School A do not have a running coach
Students from School B has a coach who trains runners
Now
When both these schools take part in a running race, and one guy Mr.X from School A and another guy Mr.Y from School B finish the 100m race at 9.92 seconds
Another guy Mr.Z from School A finish the race at 9.93 seconds
The fact is that Mr.X had a private coach while Mr.Z did not have a coach
Now, who is the better runner
Is that X, by virtue of his school
or
Is that Z……
Now, you will understand that Mr.Z is a deserving person…. but how to give him the reward….. That is where you have the CREAMY LAYER Concept….
What will happen when the creamy layer concept is not followed
The really deserving student from School A will not get the reward, but a student who may not be as deserving as Mr.Z will get the reward, just because he studied in the same school….
Now whom does this actually affect… Mr.Z…..
We can clearly see that the inclusion or exclusion of creamy layer is going to impact either Z or X and in no case Y…….
So when Z wants the Creamy layer to be excluded and X wants the creamy layer to be included, we can understand
But why is Mr.Y protesting over the exclusion of Creamy Layer
I think this question has to be answered by those Anti Reservation Guys who want the Creamy Layer to be excluded

To sum it up….
I fully agree that Forward Castes have a right to shout against reservation, and backward castes have a right to shout for reservation
I am not at all discounting these facts.
The question is very simple…
In Tamil nadu, there is 50 % reservation for BC and MBC.
Whether Creamy layer is included or excluded, a student from forward community cannot come into this…..
So what is the actual reason for those from forward community asking for exclusion of Creamy layer

This is a very poor example.We have to make fair rules for everyone because reservation is something that has to be finished in due time and thus we have to see who has benefitted from it and remove it for those people.
That is the reason for exclusion of creamy layer.
The so called backward castes have no argument for reservation,the only people who truly have an argument for reservations are SCs & STs and some MBCs.
I ll give the solution to your problem,
Forget about Y,he somehow does 9.92,now just get the private tutor from X and give it to Z now that X is already trained.
So X & Y can do something on their ownn and Z can use the trainer and try to catch up.

//According to information provided by the institute’s deputy registrar, Dr K. Panchalan, in September 2005, Dalits accounted for only 11.9 percent of the number of students. They were even fewer in the higher courses — 2.3 percent in ms (Research) and 5.8 percent in Ph.D. Out of a total of 4,687 students, Dalits made up only 559.
Activists who have been fighting for proper implementation of reservations for Dalits describe IIT Madras as a modern day agraharam — a Brahmin enclave.
Located on a 250 hectare wooded campus in the heart of the city, the majority of the 460 faculty members and students here are Brahmins. According to WB Vasantha Kandasamy, assistant professor in the Mathematics department, there are just four Dalits among the institute’s entire faculty, a meagre 0.86 percent of the total faculty strength.
There are about 50 OBC faculty members, and the rest belong to the upper castes, she says.
Vasantha says Dalit Ph.D scholars are routinely harassed. “They are forced to change their topic of research midway. They are unduly delayed, and are failed in examinations and vivas. It is a stressful atmosphere for them.” She says her support of Dalit students got her into the bad books of the management.
IIT director MS Ananth is an Iyengar Brahmin. So are four of the six deans in the institute.
In 2000, the PDK published a book based on a study it did on the anti-Dalit attitude in the institute. The study noted that there were several departments at the institute where even after 41 years, “not a single Dalit student has been selected for doing Ph.D or has successfully completed his degree”.
The study also stated that, “almost all M.Tech and ms Students in IIT were Brahmins.”…………Thol Thirumavalavan, general secretary of the Dalit Panthers of India, says, “Dalits are only working as sweepers and scavengers in the institute”. He wants the IIT management to release a white paper containing details of appointments and admissions given to Dalits and OBCs. //

It may be seen that the percentage of the students from backward communities
with high performance is considerably large. In other words, the students from reserved categories have been capable of coping with the academic requirements of the graduation.
In spite of the fact, that the Constituent Colleges of Anna University have followed 69% reservation since the year 1990, its status and prestige as a premier technical institution in the country has not diminished in anyway as seen from the high achievement of students belonging to all categories…….
9. CONCLUSION:
The experience in Tamilnadu reservation policy has clearly demonstrated that the
students from backward sections of the society have performed at a level of excellence comparable to the Open Categories. This policy has not resulted in any deterioration in the standards of the premier institutions. However, it is also seen without the reservation policy large number of students from backward communities would have been denied admission to the prestigious institutions because of shortage of a few percentage points in their Higher Secondary and Entrance Examination Scores.

Inspite of being the prince of the Nishadha tribes, Eklavya was denied education.

He had great desire to learn the art of archery from Dronacharya. But his mother had told him that as a shudra, Acharya Drona would not accept Eklavya as his disciple. Drona rejected yegaliva because of the Other Upper class parents will not agree to send their kid to study along with prince. It is a social pressure by the other people who owned land and business.
And due to the pressure of the same upper caste people, Drona asked his finger as tuition fee.
Other Upper class never liked lower caste people get educated and become competitive.
Even today in my village people( even though poor) send their kids to convent to avoid their kid mingle with lower caste.

You just proved what I said. MS is a classic case of co-opting by Brahmins. All the shrungara rasa in her music was removed and replaced with bhakti rasa. The Brahmins were so awed by her talent and couldn’t believe that a non-Brahmin was so much better than all of them, so they went ahead and did the next best thing: convert her into a proper maami. Most people tend to forget that nothing much is known about her brother or sister. The media and the music mafia ensured that MS remains a Brahmin icon, despite not being born one.

A new study has revealed that Indians belonging to higher castes are genetically closer to Europeans than are individuals from lower castes, whose genetic profiles are closer to those of Asians.
The study compared genetic markers—located on the Y chromosome and the mitochondrial DNA—between 265 Indian men of various castes and 750 African, Asian, European and other Indian men. To broaden the study, 40 markers from chromosomes 1 to 22 were analyzed from more than 600 individuals from different castes and continents. The comparison of the markers among these groups confirmed that genetic similarities to Europeans increased as caste rank increased.
The study, led by Michael Bamshad of the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, and his colleagues, is reported to be the most comprehensive genetic analysis to date of the impact of European migrations on the structure and origin of the current Indian population. The article appears in the current issue of Genome Research.
The caste system, defined in ancient Sanskrit texts, determines a person’s rank in society: The Brahmin, who were traditionally priests and scholars, held the highest rank in Hindu society. Warriors and rulers made up the Kshatriya who were the next in line to the Brahmin. Merchants, traders, farmers, and artisans were the third caste called the Vysya. The Shudra were the fourth rank and consisted of laborers. Because of strict rules forbidding marriage between men and women of different castes, these four classes remained distinct for thousands of years.
Bamshad’s team found that Y chromosomes from the Brahmin and Kshatriya closely resembled European Y chromosomes rather than Asian Y chromosomes. The Y chromosomes from the lower castes bore more similarities to the Asian Y chromosome. The mitochondrial DNA showed the same pattern.
The authors believe their results support the notion that Europeans who migrated into India between 3,000 and 8,000 years ago may have merged with or imposed their social structure on the native northern Indians and placed themselves into the highest castes.
Analysis of the paternally transmitted Y chromosome among Indians in general indicated that the Y chromosome had a more European flavor. Maternally inherited mitochondrial DNA among Indians is more Asian than European. This suggests that the Europeans who entered India were predominantly male. _
I dont believe this research. It is possible that this would have happened but 3000-8000 years is a longtime. we cant keep dwelling in the past.Anyway i have never talked about opposing SC/ST reservation,it has always been about the OBCs.Evene if this is true,so what?
