ஐரோப்பிய நாடுகளான செக் குடியரசு, போலந்து மற்றும் ஹங்கேரி ஆகிய நாடுகள் ஐரோப்பாவிற்குள் தஞ்சம் புகும் அகதிகளை தங்கள் நாடுகளுக்குள் அனுமதிக்க மறுத்து வருகின்றன. இது ஐரோப்பிய கூட்டமைப்பு நாடுகளை எரிச்சலுக்குள்ளாகியுள்ளது. இதையொட்டி ஜெர்மனி நாட்டு ஊடகம் ஒன்றிற்கு ஸ்கைப் மூலம் தரப்பட்ட நேர்காணலில் பில்கேட்ஸ் இவ்வாறு பேசியுள்ளார்.

பில் கேட்ஸின் ‘கேட்ஸ் ஃபவுண்டேஷன்’ தொண்டு நிறுவனம் தான் ஆப்பிரிக்காவில் வறுமை ஒழிப்பு, சுகாதாரமான உணவு, நோய்த்தடுப்பு முறைகள் என பல்வேறு காரணங்களை முன்வைத்தது பல லட்சம் கோடிகளைக் கொட்டியுள்ளது. இவர்கள் நுழைந்த நாடுகளிலெல்லாம் ஏழை மக்களை சோதனை எலிகளாகப் பயன்படுத்தி வந்துள்ளது பல முறை அம்பலப்பட்டுள்ளது. மென்பொருள் துறையில் சட்ட விரோதமாக ஏகபோக ஆதிக்கத்தை பயன்படுத்தி பல பில்லியன் டாலர்கள் சம்பாதித்த பில் கேட்ஸ் 2006-ம் ஆண்டு துவங்கிய பில் & மெலிண்டா (பில்கேட்சின் மனைவி) கேட்ஸ் அறக்கட்டளையின் மூலம் $33.5 பில்லியன் (சுமார் ரூ 1.66 லட்சம் கோடி) மதிப்பிலான ‘தரும’ காரியங்களை நடத்தி வருகிறார்.
உலக அளவில் விவசாயம், மருத்துவம், கல்வி போன்ற துறைகளில் பன்னாட்டு கார்பொரேட் நிறுவனங்களின் நலன்களை உறுதி செய்ய பல பில்லியன் டாலர் மதிப்பிலான நிதியை பயன்படுத்துவதுதான் கேட்ஸ் அறக்கட்டளை கொடுப்பதன் அடிப்படை. விவசாயம் தொடர்பான கொடைக்கு மான்சான்டோ, தடுப்பூசிகள் கொடைக்கு கிளாக்சோ ஸ்மித்கிளைன், கல்வி கொடைக்கு பியர்சன் எஜூகேஷன் என்று ஒவ்வொரு துறையிலும் பொருத்தமான கூட்டாளியை சேர்த்துக் கொண்டு செயல்படுகிறது அந்த அறக்கட்டளை. அதாவது கொஞ்சம் பணத்தை வீசி நிறைய பணத்தை சுருட்டுவதுதான் கேட்ஸின் அறக்கட்டளை பின்னே உள்ள அறம்.
“நான்காம் தொழிற்புரட்சி” முதலாளிகளின் இலாபம் பல மடங்கு அதிகமாகவும், மக்கள் தொகையை குறைப்பதையும் இலக்காகக் கொண்டுள்ளவர் பில்கேட்ஸ். இவர் பேசும் மனிதாபிமானத்தின் பின்னே உலக கார்ப்பரேட் நிறுவனங்களின் நலன் உள்ளது.
தான் நினைப்பதை ஐரோப்பாவும் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று நினைக்கிறார் பில் கேட்ஸ். ஆப்பிரிக்க மக்களை அகதிகளாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்வது தன்னுடைய கொள்கைக்கு முரணாகிவிடும் என்ற அச்சம் ஒரு பக்கமும் மறுபுறம் நிறவெறி கலந்த ஒரு பேச்சாகவும் இதைப் பார்க்க வேண்டியிருக்கிறது. மக்கள் நலன் என்ற பெயரில் பணத்தை முதலீடு செய்து அந்த நாட்டு வளங்களை கொள்ளையடிப்பதை விட்டு விட்டு தேவையற்ற வேலைகளைச் செய்கிறது ஐரோப்பா என்பதே பில்கேட் ஸ் கூறவருவதன் சுருக்கம்.
இன்றைக்கு மேற்கத்திய நகரங்களில் ஏன் இந்தியாவில் கூட பல மேட்டுக்குடி பகுதிகளை இதர மக்கள் – ஏழைகளிடமிருந்து பிரிக்கும் தனிப் பாதுகாப்பு நகர குடியருப்பு பகுதிகளை ஏற்படுத்தி வருகிறார்கள். அதையே நாடு, கண்ட அளவில் ஏற்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்று மறைமுகமாக கோருகிறார் பில்கேட்ஸ். ஒரு ஏழை நாட்டில் இருந்து மக்கள் அகதிகளாக வெளியேறக் காரணமான வறட்சி, போர் இரண்டுமே ஏகாதிபத்தியங்களின் ஆதிக்கத்திற்கான விளைவு எனும் போது அந்த வல்லாதிக்க நாடுகளை தண்டிப்பதற்கு பதில் ஏழை நாட்டு மக்களை தண்டிக்க வேண்டிய அவசியம் என்ன? அந்த வல்லாதிக்க நாடுகள்தான் தன்னைப் போன்ற பன்னாட்டு நிறுவனங்களின் செக்யூரிட்டி சர்வீஸ் என்பதால் இயல்பாகவே பில்கேட்ஸ் அமெரிக்கா பக்கம்தான் பேசுவார்.

The criticism is not about religion itself, the question is about assimilation. Tell me who has a problem with abiding by the laws of the land – be it any land, rather than law by the a single classical book which they think as a holy book? Who thinks they have solutions for all the problems of the world in a single book? If the west criticize it just because they care capitalists, they should be refuted with no data?
