In 2014, when Modi was announced as the Prime Ministerial candidate, the most popular rhetoric was ‘the Gujarat Model’. The fraudulent claim that Modi had developed Gujarat to be on par with Europe became viral. In real, Modi’s Gujarat was the hunting ground for the corporates; a laboratory of the RSS that seeks to establish a Hindurashtra. It was only after the 2002 Gujarat pogrom that Modi was adopted by the Brahmin-Baniya corporates including Ambani and Adani.
In that way, the Modi-led BJP government has nationalized the Gujarat model. It is only in places where the RSS orchestrated various religious riots, the BJP had gained foothold and had captured power. The sangh parivar mob had orchestrated almost 10,000 riots over a period of eight years.
The condition of the Muslims
The RSS has been campaigning for over hundred years that Muslims are the biggest threat to the nation and the majoritarian Hindus. The saffron mob is working in numerous ways only to construct riots against the Muslims. The reasons they say include beef, love jihad, religious conversion, conspiracy against the country, etc. They have established many violent outfits such as gau rakshas, anti-Romeo squads, etc in congruence with these issues.

The 52-year old Akhlaq was lynched to death in 2015 in Uttar Pradesh by alleging that he was in possession of beef. In 2017, Pehlu Khan, a dairy farmer from Haryana, was beaten to death by the Hindu-fanatic mob. They claimed that he was smuggling cows. According to a report by Human Rights Watch in 2019, at least 44 people were killed by the cow vigilantes between May 2015 and December 2018.
In 2018, an 8-year old Muslim girl was gang-raped and murdered in Kathua in Kashmir. The BJP conducted a procession by carrying national flag in support of the perpetrator, only because of the fact that the victim is a Muslim and the perpetrator is a Hindu.
The fascist BJP vehemently repressed the protests in Shaheen Bagh, JNU and Jamia Millia Islamia against the Citizenship Amendment Act, which envisions in making the Muslims fourth-class citizens. 50 people were massacred in a planned riot by the saffron mob in Delhi.
As in states like Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, the RSS is expanding its Hindutva laboratories in Uttarakhand, Assam, Tripura and Karnataka.
It is to be noted that when riots broke out in various states during Ram Janmabhoomi movement, Tripura was among the states that remained undisturbed. But after the saffron mob assumed power, in last November last year, mosques were smashed and the houses of the Muslims were set ablaze. In Karnataka, there were continuous oppressions against Muslims such as Hijab ban and halal jihad which were unprecedented in the state.
If the Muslims fight against these injustices thrust upon them, the saffron regime bulldozes their houses. During the Ram Navami riots and during protests against Nupur Sharma’s comments on Prophet Muhammad, the protests were suppressed with bulldozers. The courts also supported these illegal demolitions. The bulldozer demolitions should be viewed on par with Israeli Jewish religious-fanatic government’s oppression on Palestinians.
Rajasthan’s Kanhaiya Lal, who posted on social media in support of Nupur Sharma, was killed by two Muslims. After that, a few Bajrang Dal and Vishva Hindu Parishad members who participated in a Hindutva Mahapanchayat in Haryana had clamoured “Will repeat Gujarat if situation demands”, “Hindu Rashtra will demand sacrifice and we are ready to give it”.
At last, it was found that the murderers of Kanhaiya Lal were stooges of the BJP. Their conspiracy to orchestrate a big religious riot was exposed.
At a global summit held virtually, experts and researchers working on hate speech and genocide said that the process of genocide is already underway in India. Jason Stanley, a professor of philosophy who participated in this summit said “The CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) looks frighteningly similar to the Nuremberg laws”.
Before this, in an event called ‘Dharma Sansad’ at Haridwar, the saffron fascists openly called for the genocide of the Muslims in order to establish a Hindu Rashtra.
The condition of the Dalits
In 2016, in Gujarat’s Mota Samadhiyala village of Una taluka in Gir-Somnath district, dalit youths were tied and thrashed for skinning dead cows.
In 2017, a dalit girl in Unnao was gang-raped by a BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar of that constituency along with his henchmen.
In 2020, in Hathras, the police did not even handover the body of the dalit girl who was gang-raped; instead burnt it illegally in the middle of the night.
Atrocities against dalits such as untouchability offenses, rape and murder take place more in BJP-ruled states. The reason for this is the reactionary tendency of these states. The second important reason is that the saffron mob, which is in power, is legally protecting the dominant caste caste-fanatics. According to the statistics released by the National Crime Records Bureau, 25.3% of the total attacks on dalits took place in Yogi’s Uttar Pradesh alone.
The caste fanatics among the caste-Hindus naturally become partners with the Hindu religious fanatics. In a riot in Ponparappi, vanniyar caste-fanatics along with Hindu Munnani ransacked the houses of the dalits.
The attack on Christians
The saffron mob is accusing that the Christian voluntary organizations (NGOs) are getting funds from foreign countries and are using it for religious conversions and indulge in widespread attacks.
During last year’s Christmas Eve, there were attacks on churches in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Karnataka by members of Bajrang Dal and Vishva Hindu Parishad. The effigy of Santa Claus was burnt. Christian schools were also attacked.
Churches were attacked in southern districts of Tamil Nadu during the suicide issue of Ariyalur student Lavanya. Hindu Munnani had involved in ruckus several times against the Christian schools in Tiruppur by accusing them of religious conversion.
The tyrannical Hindurashtra government
After the fascists gained influence in national politics, the percentage of Muslim MPs in the parliament, which was 9.3% in 1976, had shrunk to 5% in 2019.
Majority of the vote-bank political parties fear to have electoral alliance with Muslim parties. They think that they would be attacked by the Hindu-fanatic fascists if they do so. Even the big political parties, which were allying with the Muslim parties traditionally, are also not allocating general constituencies to them. Muslim candidates are put forward in Muslim majority areas only as a means to get the popular votes. This shows the influence gained by the Hindu-fanatic politics in the mainstream.
According to the “Status of Policing in India Report 2019” by the NGO “Common Cause”, about 50% of the police personnel hate Muslims and consider them to be naturally prone at committing violence. Moreover, the report further says that they pay no attention to the complaints filed by the Muslims.

Union minister Smiti Irani’s written reply in the Lok Sabha showed that the government has reduced the funds allocated for many minority schemes over the last three years and the number of beneficiaries under them has declined.
The entire State structure is being casted against Muslims and in favour of saffron fascist mob. No one is daring enough to speak about democratic and secular India. In order to pick up votes, these political parties speak up in the tone of soft Hindutva.
The fascist attacks that are executed through legal means include Cow Protection Law, Anti-Love Jihad Law, Anti-Conversion Law, Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, Citizenship Amendment Act, ban on offering Namaz (prayers) in public places in Uttar Pradesh, court order prohibiting wearing of hijab in Karnataka.
Democracy, Equality and Secularism have become slogans in the anti-fascist protests. That is, they have become demands. The meaning of this is that “the existing State structure has been changed in conducive to the tyrannical Hindurashtra rule. Now, there is no solution within the existing framework”.
