இரஷ்ய – உக்ரைன் போர் : இரஷ்யாவுக்கு எதிரான அமெரிக்காவின் பதிலிப் போரும் உலகப் போர் அபாயமும் ! – பாகம் 1
கடந்த பிப்ரவரி 24-ம் தேதி, ‘நவ நாஜிக்களை ஒழிப்பதற்கான சிறப்பு இராணுவ நடவடிக்கை’ என்ற பெயரில் உக்ரைன் மீது போர் தொடுத்தது இரஷ்யா. இரண்டு மாதங்கள் ஆகின்றன, போர் தொடர்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
இரஷ்யாவிற்கு எதிராக பொருளாதாரத் தடைகளை விதிப்பது, உக்ரைனுக்கு ஆயுதங்களை வழங்குவது, இரஷ்யாவிற்கு எதிரான பொய்ப் பிரச்சாரங்களைக் கட்டவிழ்த்துவிடுவது-நெருக்கடி கொடுப்பது, இரஷ்யாவிற்கு எதிரான நாடுகளை ஒன்றிணைக்க முயற்சிப்பது உள்ளிட்ட பல வழிமுறைகளின் மூலம் உக்ரைனுக்கு வெளியிலிருந்து இப்போரை அமெரிக்காவே நடத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
இரஷ்யாவும் சரி, உக்ரைன் மற்றும் அமெரிக்கா தலைமையிலான நேட்டோ கூட்டணியும் சரி, இப்போர் நீண்டகாலம் நீடிக்கலாம்; எனவே அதற்கான தயாரிப்புகளில் இறங்க வேண்டும் என்று கூறுகின்றன. போர் நிறுத்தத்திற்கோ அமைதிப் பேச்சு வார்த்தைக்கோ எந்த தரப்பும் தாயாரில்லை. குறிப்பாக, உக்ரைனை பலிகடாவாக்கி இரஷ்யாவுக்கு எதிரான பதிலிப் போரை (Proxy War) நடத்திவரும் அமெரிக்கா பின்வாங்கத் தயாராக இல்லை. தீவிரப் போர் வெறியோடு செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது.
போரின் நெருக்கடிகள் மக்களின் தலையில்..
ஏகாதிபத்தியங்களுக்கு இடையிலான இந்த நாய்ச்சண்டையில் பலியாகிக் கொண்டிருப்பதோ உக்ரைன் உழைக்கும் மக்கள்தான். போரில் தாம் கொல்லப்பட்டுவிட்டால், தம் குழந்தைகளை அடையாளம் கண்டுகொள்வதற்காக முதுகில் முகவரிகளை எழுதும் பெற்றோர்களின் அவலம் குறித்த செய்தி நமது நெஞ்சை உலுக்குகிறது. உக்ரைனில் அரசாட்சி செய்கிற நவநாஜி கும்பலோ போரில் இரஷ்ய இராணுவம் முன்னேறுவதைத் தடுக்க பெண்கள், குழந்தைகள் என சொந்த நாட்டு மக்களையே மனிதக் கேடயமாகப் (Human Shield) பயன்படுத்தி வருகின்றனர்.
போர் தொடங்கியதிலிருந்து இதுவரை 40 இலட்சத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட (40,19,287) மக்கள் உக்ரைனை விட்டு வெளியேறியிருப்பதாக ஐ.நா மனித உரிமைகள் ஆணையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. வெளியேறியவர்களில் 90 சதவிகிதம் பேர் பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள். 18 முதல் 60 வயது வரையுள்ள ஆண்கள் கட்டாய இராணுவ சேவைக்கு தேவைப்படுவார்கள் என்பதால், உக்ரைன் நாஜி அரசு வெளியேற அனுமதிக்கவில்லை.
ஆனால், இரஷ்யப் படையினரே உக்ரைன் குடிமக்களைக் கொத்துக் கொத்தாக கொன்றுகொண்டிருப்பதாக, ஒருதலைபட்சமான பல பேய்க்கதைகளை உலாவ விட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன அமெரிக்க, ஐரோப்பிய ஊடகங்கள்.
இரஷ்யா உலக அளவில் பெட்ரோல் உற்பத்தியில் மூன்றாம் இடத்திலும், இயற்கை எரிவாயு உற்பத்தியில் இரண்டாம் இடத்திலும் இருக்கிறது. பலநாடுகளின் கோதுமை தேவைகள் உக்ரைன், இரஷ்யாவின் ஏற்றுமதி மூலமே நிறைவுசெய்யப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தன. எனவே இப்போரின் காரணமாக உலக நாடுகளில் எரிவாயு விலை உயர்ந்து காணப்படுகிறது; பல நாடுகளில் கோதுமைக்குத் தட்டுப்பாடு நிலவுகிறது. மேலும் பல உற்பத்திப் பொருட்களின் மூலப்பொருட்கள் விலை உயர்வு, அத்தியாவசியப் பொருட்கள் விலை உயர்வு எனப் போர் உண்டாக்கியிருக்கும் நெருக்கடிகள் உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள உழைக்கும் மக்களின் தலையிலேயே விழுகின்றன.
மூன்றாம் உலகப்போர் அபாயம்!
ஏப்ரல் 24 அன்று உக்ரைனுக்கு சென்று, அந்நாட்டு அதிபர் ஜெலன்ஸ்கியைச் சந்தித்த அமெரிக்க வெளியுறவுத்துறைச் செயலர் ஆண்டனி பிளிங்கனும் பாதுகாப்புத்துறைச் செயலர் லொயிட் ஆஸ்டினும் இரஷ்யாவை இராணுவ ரீதியில் முடமாக்குவதே இப்போரில் எங்களது (அமெரிக்கா) நோக்கம் என்று வெளிப்படையாக அறிவித்தனர்.
அமெரிக்காவின் செல்லப் பிராணியான உக்ரைன் அதிபர் ஜெலன்ஸ்கி, “எங்களுக்குத் தேவை ஆயுதங்கள், மென்மேலும் கூடுதலான ஆயுதங்கள்” என்று எஜமானருக்குத் தோதாக ஊளையிடுகிறார். அமெரிக்காவுக்கு அடுத்தபடியாக, இங்கிலாந்தும் இப்போரில் தீவிரமாகத் தன்னை ஈடுபடுத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. இரஷ்யாவின் எல்லையை ஒட்டிய கிழக்கு ஐரோப்பில் தனது 8,000 துருப்புகளை நிறுத்தி வைத்துள்ளது.
இரஷ்யாவை எதிர்கொள்வதற்காக உக்ரைனுக்கு மலைமலையாக பணத்தை வாரியிறைத்து வருகிறது அமெரிக்க அரசு. போர் தொடங்கியபோது உடனடியாக 1.3 கோடி டாலர்களை வழங்கியது. மார்ச் மாத தொடக்கத்தில் 20 கோடி டாலர்களை ஒதுக்கியது. பிற்பாடு சிறிது நாட்களிலேயே 80 கோடி டாலர்களை அறிவித்தது. தற்போது உக்ரைனுக்கு உதவுவதற்காக 3,500 கோடி டாலர்கள் வரை வழங்க அமெரிக்க நாடாளுமன்றத்தின் ஒப்புதலைப் பெற்றுள்ளார் அதிபர் பைடன்.
நிதி உதவி மட்டுமல்லாது விமான எதிர்ப்பு கருவிகள், பீரங்கிகள், ஏவுகணைகள், அதிநவீனத் துப்பாக்கிகள் உள்ளிட்ட கொடிய போர்க் கருவிகளையும் தனது உளவுத்துறையின் உதவியையும் உக்ரைனுக்கு வழங்கி வருகிறது அமெரிக்கா.
தன் நாட்டு ஆயுதங்களை உக்ரைனுக்கு தங்குதடையின்றி வழங்குவதற்காக ‘உக்ரைன் – ஜனநாயக பாதுகாப்புக் கடன் மற்றும் குத்தகைச் சட்டம் 2022’-ஐ நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் நிறைவேற்றியுள்ளார் பைடன். இரண்டாம் உலகப்போரின்போது, இங்கிலாந்துக்கு தன்னுடைய ஆயுதங்களை வழங்குவதற்காக, முதன்முதலாக 1941-ம் ஆண்டு இச்சட்டம் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டது. தற்போது உக்ரைனுக்காக அதை மீண்டும் உயிர்ப்பித்துள்ளார் பைடன். குடியரசுக் கட்சியும் ஜனநாயக கட்சியும் இணைந்து பெரும்பான்மை ஆதரவோடு இச்சட்டத்தை நிறைவேற்றியுள்ளன.
அமெரிக்கா மட்டுமல்லாது 30 உறுப்பினர்களைக் கொண்ட நேட்டோ கூட்டமைப்பு நாடுகளில், மூன்றில் இரண்டு பங்கு நாடுகள் உக்ரைனுக்கு ஆயுதங்கள் வழங்கிவருகின்றன. இராணுவ வல்லரசான இரஷ்யாவினுடைய தாக்குதலை உக்ரைன் இத்தனை நாள் சமாளிப்பதற்குப்பின் உள்ள காரணம் இதுவே.
மேலும் ஏப்ரல் 19 அன்று ஜெர்மனியில் அமெரிக்கா தலைமையில் நேட்டோ நாடுகள் உள்ளிட்டு 43 நாடுகள் ஒன்றுகூடி, போரில் உக்ரைனுக்கு உதவுவதற்காக ஒரு கூட்டமைப்பை உருவாக்கியுள்ளனர். உக்ரைனுக்கு போர்ச் செலவினங்களுக்காக நிதி உதவி, ஆயுத உதவி ஆகியவற்றை வழங்குவதற்கு இந்நாடுகள் முன்வந்திருக்கின்றன. ஒவ்வொரு மாதமும் தங்களது திட்டம் பற்றி இக்கூட்டமைப்பு நாடுகள் ஆலோசிக்க இருக்கின்றன.
நிலைமைகளை அவதானிக்கும்போது, இரஷ்யாவுக்கு எதிரான அமெரிக்காவின் பனிப்போர் மூன்றாம் உலகப் போருக்கான அபாயத்தைத் தோற்றுவித்துள்ளது. இதனை அமெரிக்காவும் இரஷ்யாவுமே மாறிமாறிச் சொல்லிக் கொள்கின்றன. எனவே இருதரப்புமே எந்தவிதக் கூச்ச நாச்சமுமின்றி, அம்மணமாக தங்களது நோக்கங்களை அறிவித்துக் கொண்டு, போர்த் தயாரிப்புகளில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகின்றன.
இரஷ்ய-உக்ரைன் போரைப் புரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டுமானால், நாம் அமெரிக்காவுக்கும் இரஷ்யாவுக்கும் நடைபெற்ற பனிப்போரைப் பற்றி புரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும். இதற்காக 1950-களின் பிற்பகுதி தொடங்கி, 1991 வரையுள்ள காலகட்டம் மற்றும் 1991-லிருந்து தற்போது வரையிலான காலகட்டம் என இரண்டாகப் பிரித்து, நிகழ்வுகளைச் சுருக்கமாகப் பார்ப்போம்.
இரண்டாம் உலகப் போரின் முடிவில், அமெரிக்காவானது ஏகாதிபத்திய முகாமிலேயே தலைமை தாதாவாக – மேல்நிலை வல்லரசாக வளரத்தொடங்கியது. 1950-களின் பிற்பகுதியில், சோசலிச நாடாக இருந்த சோவியத் யூனியனில் திருத்தல்வாதிகள் முதலாளித்துவத்தை மீட்டெடுத்தனர்; ஆகையால் சோசலிச சோவியத் யூனியன், சமூக ஏகாதிபத்தியமாக (சொல்லில் சோசலிசம்; செயலில் ஏகாதிபத்தியம்) சீரழிந்து அமெரிக்காவுடன் உலக ஆதிக்கத்திற்கான போட்டா போட்டியில் இறங்கியது.
இதற்கு முன்னதாக, 1945-ம் ஆண்டு – இரண்டாம் உலகப் போரின் முடிவில், பாசிச ஹிட்லரின் பிடியிலிருந்த நாடுகளை சோவியத் செம்படை விரட்டியடித்து அல்பேனியா, பல்கேரியா, செக்கோஸ்லோவாக்கியா, ருமேனியா, ஹங்கேரி, போலந்து மற்றும் கிழக்கு ஜெர்மனி வரை விடுவித்திருந்தது. இந்த நாடுகளெல்லாம் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சித் தலைமையின்கீழ் சோசலிச குடியரசுகளாக மாறின.
இந்நிலையில், சோசலிசம் பரவிவருவதைக் கண்டு அச்சமுற்ற அமெரிக்கா, பிரிட்டன், பிரான்ஸ் உள்ளிட்ட ஏகாதிபத்தியங்கள் சோவியத் யூனியனை எதிர்கொள்வதற்காக உருவாக்கிய அரசியல்-இரணுவக் கூட்டணியே நேட்டோ.
1949-ம் ஆண்டு அட்லாண்டிக் கடலின் வடபகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த நாடுகளான பெல்ஜியம், கனடா, டென்மார்க், பிரான்ஸ், ஐலாந்து, இத்தாலி, லுக்சம்பர்க், நெதர்லாந்து, நார்வே, போர்சுகல், இங்கிலாந்து, அமெரிக்கா என 12 நாடுகள் ஓர் ஒப்பந்தத்தின் மூலம் நேட்டோவை ஏற்படுத்தின. வட அட்லாண்டிக் ஒப்பந்த நாடுகள் அமைப்பு என்பதன் சுருக்கமே நேட்டோ (NATO) ஆகும்.
மறுபக்கம் கிழக்கு ஐரோப்பிய சோசலிச நாடுகளை தனது சுரண்டலுக்கான தொங்கு சதை நாடுகளாக ஆக்கிக் கொண்டது சோவியத் சமூக ஏகாதிபத்தியம்; மேலும் 1955-ம் ஆண்டு நேட்டோவை எதிர்கொள்வதற்காக அந்நாடுகளை ஒருங்கிணைத்து வார்சா ஒப்பந்த அமைப்பை (WTO) ஏற்படுத்தியது. இதுவும் நேட்டோவைப் போலான அரசியல்-இராணுவக் கூட்டணியாகும்.
சுமார் 35 ஆண்டு காலத்திற்குமேல் நடைபெற்ற பனிப்போரில், 1990-1992களில் அரசியல் – பொருளாதார நெருக்கடிகளில் சிக்கிய சோவியத் சமூக ஏகாதிபத்தியம், அமெரிக்காவிடம் தோற்றது. 90-களின் இறுதியில் வார்சா கூட்டமைப்பு கலைக்கப்பட்டது. இரஷ்யாவுடனான சோவியத் கூட்டமைப்பிலிருந்து 14 நாடுகள் வெளியேறியதால் சோவியத் யூனியனும் சிதறியது. ஆனால் இதே காலகட்டத்தில், அமெரிக்கா தலைமையிலான நேட்டோ கூட்டணி கிரீஸ், துருக்கி, மேற்கு ஜெர்மனி, ஸ்பெயின் உள்ளிட நாடுகளை இணைத்துக் கொண்டு விரிவடைந்தது.
90-களுக்குப் பின் செக் குடியரசு, ஹங்கேரி, போலந்து ஆகிய நாடுகள் 1999-ம் ஆண்டும்; பல்கேரியா, எஸ்தோனியா, லாட்வியா, லிதுவேனியா, ருமேனியா, ஸ்லோவாக்கியா மற்றும் ஸ்லோவேனியா ஆகிய நாடுகள் 2004-ம் ஆண்டிலும்; அல்பேனியா மற்றும் க்ரோஷியா 2009-ம் ஆண்டிலும்; மண்டேநீக்ரோ 2017-ம் ஆண்டிலும்; 2020-ம் ஆண்டில் வடக்கு மாசிடோனியாவும் நோட்டோவில் இணைந்தன.
வட அட்லாண்டிக் பிராந்திய நாடுகளை மட்டுமே கொண்டிருந்த நோட்டோ படை, முன்னாள் சோவியத் உறுப்பு நாடுகள் உள்ளிட்டு பெரும்பான்மையான கிழக்கு ஐரோப்பிய நாடுகளையும் தன்னுடன் இணைத்துக்கொண்டு உலகின் மிகப்பெரிய இராணுவக் கூட்டமைப்பாகத் திகழ்கிறது. தற்போது 30 நாடுகள் அதில் உறுப்பினர்களாக உள்ளார்கள்.

பனிப்போர் காலத்தில், மேலும் கிழக்கு நோக்கி எங்களது படைகளை விரிவுபடுத்த மாட்டோம் என்று இரஷ்யாவுக்கு கொடுத்த வாக்கை மீறியுள்ளது அமெரிக்கா தலைமையிலான நேட்டோ. தற்போது நேட்டோ நாடுகள் இரஷ்யாவை சுற்றிவளைத்துள்ளன.
உக்ரைனுக்கு போர் உதவிகள் வழங்குவது பற்றி நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் உரையாடும் அதிபர் பைடன்.
இரஷ்யாவின் நிலப்பகுதியை ஒட்டியுள்ள நாடுகளான லாத்வியா, லிதுவேனியா, எஸ்தோனியா ஆகியவை நேட்டோவில் இருக்கின்றன. தற்போது இரஷ்யாவுடன் மிகப்பரந்த அளவில் நிலப்பகுதியை பகிர்ந்துகொள்ளக்கூடிய உக்ரைனையும் நேட்டோவில் இணைத்துக் கொள்ளத் துடிக்கிறது அமெரிக்கா. உக்ரைனைப் போலவே நார்வே, ஸ்வீடன், போலந்து உள்ளிட்ட நாடுகளும் நேட்டோவில் இணைய விருப்பம் தெரிவித்துள்ளன.
தனது மேலாதிக்கப் பரப்பை விரிபடுத்துவதோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல், இரஷ்யாவை சுற்றி வளைத்துத் தாக்கவும் உகந்த புவிசார் முக்கியத்துவமிக்கப் (Geo-political importance) பகுதியாக உக்ரைனைக் கருதுகிறது அமெரிக்கா. இதை முறியடிப்பதற்காகத்தான் இரஷ்யா உக்ரைன் மீது போர் தொடுத்துள்ளது. எனவே இப்போர் ஒரு திடீர் நிகழ்வல்ல. அமெரிக்க-இரஷ்ய வல்லரசுகளுக்கு இடையிலான பனிப்போரின் தொடர்ச்சி.
அமெரிக்கப் பதிலிப் போரின் முன்தயாரிப்பு பணிகள்
2000-ம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து உலகின் இராணுவச் செலவு கிட்டத்தட்ட இரட்டிப்பாகியுள்ளது. 2021-ம் ஆண்டு உலகளாவிய இராணுவச் செலவு சுமார் 2 டிரில்லியன் டாலர். இதில் பாதிக்கும் மேற்பட்டவை நேட்டோ நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்தவை.
1991 முதல் 2021 வரையிலான காலங்களில் உக்ரைனுக்கு பெருமளவிலான இராணுவ உதவிகளை செய்திருக்கிறது அமெரிக்கா. 1991-2014 வரை சுமார் 380 கோடி டாலர் அளவிற்கான இராணுவ உதவிகளை செய்திருக்கிறது. அதுவே ஒப்பீட்டு நோக்கில் 2014-2021 வரையான குறுகிய ஆண்டுகளில், 240 கோடி டாலர் அளவிற்கான இராணுவ உதவிகளாக அதிகரித்திருக்கிறது.
இரஷ்யா உக்ரைன் மீது போர் தொடுத்த பிறகுதான் அமெரிக்காவும் நேட்டோ கூட்டணியும் உக்ரைனுக்கு உதவிகள் வழங்கிவருகின்றனர் என்பது கிடையாது; ஆரம்பத்திலிருந்தே அமெரிக்கா உக்ரைனை களமாகக் கொண்டு இரஷ்யாவுக்கு எதிரான பதிலிப் போருக்கு தாயரித்துள்ளது என்பதை விளக்கும் சித்திரம்தான் மேற்சொன்ன புள்ளிவிவரம்.

இசுலாமிய நாடுகளில் ஒசாமா பின்லேடன், ஐ.எஸ்.ஐ.எஸ்., தாலிபான் உள்ளிட்ட இசுலாமிய தீவிரவாதக் குழுக்களை வளர்த்துவிட்டதைப் போல் அமெரிக்காவின் உளவுத்துறையான சி.ஐ.ஏ.வும் அந்நாட்டின் இராணுவத் தலைமையகமும் 500 கோடி டாலர் செலவுசெய்து உக்ரைனில் அசோவ் எனும் நவநாஜிக் கும்பல்களை வளர்த்துவிட்டுள்ளது.
நடைபெற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போரில், இரஷ்யப் படையினரை எதிர்த்து சண்டையிடுவது உக்ரைன் இராணுவம் மட்டுமல்ல, அவர்களோடு இணைந்து அசோவ் பட்டாலியன் எனும் நவநாஜி ஆயுதப் படையும் சண்டையிட்டு வருகிறது. அமெரிக்கா அனுப்பும் ஆயுதங்கள் இக்குழுவினரின் கட்டுப்பாட்டிற்கே செல்கின்றன.
உக்ரைனில் தனக்குச் சாதகமான பொம்மை ஆட்சியை உருவாக்க ஆட்சிக் கவிழ்ப்புகளையும் அமெரிக்கா நடத்தியிருக்கிறது. 2004-இல் நடைபெற்ற அதிபர் தேர்தலில் இரஷ்ய ஆதரவாளரான விக்டர் யனுகோவிச் அதிபரானார். இதைப் பொறுக்காத அமெரிக்கா தனது விசுவாசக் கும்பல்கள் மூலம் உக்ரைனில் ‘ஆரஞ்சு புரட்சி’ என்ற பெயரில், ஆட்சிக் கவிழ்ப்பு சதியை அரங்கேற்றி அமெரிக்க ஆதாரவளரான விக்டர் யுஷ்செங்கோவை அதிபராக்கியது.
2010-இல் நடைபெற்ற தேர்தலில், இரஷ்ய ஆதரவாளரான யனுகோவிச் மீண்டும் அதிபரானார். இவர் இரஷ்யாவுடனான உறவை மீண்டும் புதுப்பிக்க விரும்பினார். இதற்கு எதிராக அமெரிக்காவால் வளர்க்கப்பட்ட நவநாஜிசக் கும்பல்கள் போராட்டங்களில் இறங்கின. இதனால் ஏற்பட்ட அரசியல் நெருக்கடியின் விளைவாக அதிபர் பதவியிலிருந்து யனுகோவிச் விலகினார். பாசிசக் கும்பல்கள் ஆட்சியைக் கைப்பற்றின. தற்போது ஆட்சியிலிருக்கும் ஜெலன்ஸ்கியும் நவநாஜிக் கும்பலின் ஆசி பெற்ற அதிபரே.
இனவெறி கொண்ட உக்ரைன் நவநாஜிக் கும்பல்கள் இரஷ்யர்கள் அதிகம் வாழும் கிரீமிய தீபகற்பம் மற்றும் டான்பாஸ் பிரதேசம் ஆகியவற்றில் இனவெறி அடக்குமுறை – அத்துமீறல்களை அரங்கேற்றி வந்தன. இந்த உள்நாட்டு இன அழிப்புப் போரில் 14,000-க்கும் அதிகமானோர் கொல்லப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இதனால் இரஷ்யா 2014-ஆம் ஆண்டு இராணுவ நடவடிக்கையின் மூலமாக கிரிமியாவை தன்னுடன் இணைத்துக் கொண்டது.
உக்ரைனில் நடக்கும் போர், உலக காலநிலை உறுதிப்பாட்டை கைவிடுகிறது என்று ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபை எச்சரித்தது. இதைத்தொடர்ந்து தற்போது உலக பெருங்கடல்களின் நீர் மட்டமானது கடந்த ஆண்டுகளை காட்டிலும் உயர்ந்துள்ளதாக உலக வானிலை அமைப்பு (WMO) கூறுகிறது. அதுமட்டுமில்லாமல் பெருங்கடல்களின் அமிலத்தன்மை அதிகரித்திருப்பதாகவும் கூறுகிறது. 2021-ல் பனிக்கட்டிகள் அதிகம் உருகுவதால் கடல் மட்டம் புதிய உயரத்தை எட்டி இருப்பதாக உலக வானிலை அமைப்பு கூறியுள்ளது.
நமது காலநிலை நம் கண் முன்னே மாறி வருகிறது எனவும், மனிதனால் தூண்டப்படும் பசுமை இல்ல வாயுக்களால் பூமியில் பல தலைமுறைகளுக்கு வெப்பம் அதிகமாக இருக்கும் எனவும் WMO-ன் பொதுச்செயலாளர் ஒரு அறிக்கையில் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். அதைத்தொடர்ந்து ஐ.நா.வின் சமீபத்திய அறிக்கையில், “மனிதகுலம் பசுமை இல்ல வாயுகளின் வெளியேற்றத்தைக் குறைக்க வேண்டும் அல்லது பேரழிவு மாற்றங்களை எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டும்” என்று குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது.
போர்களின் காரணமாக காலநிலை உறுதிப்பாட்டை உலக நாடுகள் கைவிடுவதாகவும், இது எரிசக்தி விலைகளை உயர்த்தி, ஐரோப்பிய நாடுகளை எரிசக்தி வழங்குனராக மாற்ற முற்படுகிறது எனவும் ஐ.நா பொதுச்செயலாளரின் காலநிலை நடவடிக்கைக்கான சிறப்பு ஆலோசகர் செல்வின் ஹார்ட் கூறியுள்ளார். இங்கு மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் பல பொருளாதார நடவடிக்கைகள் கூட நமது காலநிலை இலக்குகளை ஆபத்திற்கு கொண்டு செல்லும் எனவும் கூறியுள்ளார்.
ரஷ்யா நிலக்கரியை எரிவாயுவாக மாற்றுவதை நிறுத்தாவிட்டால் உலகம் பசுமை இல்ல வாயுக்களின் அபாயகரமான அதிகரிப்பை எதிர்கொள்ளும் என்று உலகளாவிய சம பங்கு குறியீட்டு நிறுவனமான MSCI எச்சரித்தது. 2021-ம் ஆண்டில் வளிமண்டலத்தில் வெப்பமயமாதலால், கார்பன்-டை-ஆக்சைடு மற்றும் மீத்தேன் அளவுகள் முந்திய பதிவுகளைவிட மிஞ்சி விட்டதாக WMO-ன் அறிக்கையில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
உலகளவில் தொழில் துறைகளின் மூலம் வெப்பநிலையானது முந்தைய சராசரியைவிட 1.11 டிகிரி செல்சியஸ் அதிகமாக இருக்கிறது. இது 1.5 டிகிரி செல்சியஸ் வெப்பநிலைக்கு நெருக்கமாக உள்ளது. அதுமட்டுமில்லாமல் நீர்நிலைகள் புவியின் திரட்டப்பட்ட வெப்பத்தில் 90% மற்றும் மனித நடவடிக்கைகளில் 23% கார்பன்-டை-ஆக்சைடு வெளியேற்றத்தை உறிஞ்சுகிறது. இதனால் கடலின் வெப்பநிலை அளவானது 20 ஆண்டுகளில் இல்லாத அளவிற்கு 2021-ல் புதிய உச்சத்தை தொட்டுள்ளது. மேலே குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள, மாற்றங்கள் அனைத்தும் தலைகீழாக மாற பல நூற்றாண்டுகள் ஆகலாம் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.
கடல், வளிமண்டலத்திலுள்ள அதிக கார்பன்-டை-ஆக்சைடை உறிஞ்சி வினை புரிவதால், இப்போது 26,000 ஆண்டுகளில் இல்லாத அளவிற்கு அதிக அமிலத்தன்மை கொண்டதாக மாறியுள்ளது. கடந்த 10 ஆண்டுகளில் கடல் மட்டம் 4.5 சென்டிமீட்டர் உயர்ந்துள்ளது. இது 1993 முதல் 2002-ம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கிடையிலான கடல்நீர்மட்ட அதிகரிப்பை விட இரண்டு மடங்கு அதிகம்.
உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள தீவிர வெப்ப அலைகள், காட்டுத் தீ, வெள்ளம் மற்றும் பிற காலநிலை தொடர்பான பேரழிவுகளை WHO பட்டியலிட்டது. இதில், 100 பில்லியன் டாலர்களுக்கும் அதிகமான சேதங்கள் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளதாக கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
ஏகபோக இலாபத்திற்காக உலகையே தன் ஆதிக்கத்திற்கு கீழ் கொண்டுவரத் துடிக்கும் அமெரிக்கா, ரஷ்யா போன்ற ஏகாதிபத்தியங்களால்தான், இன்று உலகமே அழிவுப்பாதையை நோக்கி சென்று கொண்டிருக்கிறது. இலாபவெறி கொண்டு இயற்கையை அழித்து வரும் இந்த கொடூர உலக ஏகாதிபத்தியங்களை (முதலாளித்துவத்தை), உலகப் பாட்டாளி வர்க்கத்தை கொண்டு வீழ்த்தாமல் காலநிலை மாற்றங்களை தடுக்க முடியாது.

தோழர் ராஜன் கோவை பகுதி செயலாளர் மக்கள் அதிகாரம் அவர்கள் பேசுகையில், “ஆலை நிர்வாகமும் அரசும் கள்ளக் கூட்டு வைத்துக் கொண்டு போராடும் மக்களை பிளவுபடுத்துகிறார்கள். நாம் அமைப்பாக இருந்தால் மட்டுமே எதையும் சாதிக்க முடியும் என்பதுதான் ஸ்டெர்லைட் போராட்டத்தில் நமக்கு கிடைத்த அனுபவம். எனவே நாம் அனைவரும் ஒன்றாக இணைந்தால் இந்த நாசகார ஸ்டெர்லைட் விரட்டி அடிக்க முடியும்” என்று சூளுரைத்தார்.
தோழர் சங்கர் கோவை மண்டல செயலாளர் மக்கள் அதிகாரம் அவர்கள் பேசுகையில், “சமீபத்தில் அரசுக்கு CBI கொடுத்த ஆலைக்கு எதிரான போராட்டத்தின் ஆய்வு அறிக்கையில், ஆலைக்கு எதிராக போராடிய மக்கள்தான் குற்றவாளிகள் என்றும் துப்பாக்கி ஏந்தி சுட்ட போலீசும், போலீசுக்கு உத்தரவிட்ட அதிகாரிகளும் குற்றவாளிகள் இல்லை என்றும் அந்த ஆய்வு அறிக்கையில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது. இதைக்கண்ட தூத்துக்குடி பகுதி மக்கள் அந்த நகலை கிழித்து போராடுகிறார்கள் CBI-ன் நகல் எதை காட்டுகிறது. அரசிடம் நீதியும் நியாயமும் எதிர்பார்க்க முடியாது மக்களே அதிகாரத்தை கையில் எடுத்து போராடினால் மட்டுமே நீதி பெற முடியும்” என்று சூளுரைத்தார்.

ஸ்டெர்லைட் எதிர்ப்பு போராட்டத்தில் உயிர் நீத்த தியாகிகளின் நினைவு தினத்தையோட்டி சென்னை சேத்துப்பட்டு பகுதியில் புரட்சிகர மாணவர் இளைஞர் முன்னணி, மக்கள் அதிகாரம் சார்பில் தெருமுனை பிரச்சாரத்தை நடைப்பெற்றது. இதில் மக்கள் அதிகாரத்தை சேர்ந்த தோழர் அமிர்தா, பூர்ணிமா, புமா இ மு வை சேர்ந்த துணைவேந்தன், யுவராஜ், ஜனார்த்தனன் ஆகிய தோழர்கள் பேசினார்கள்.

இந்த அரசு சொல்ல கூடிய எந்த சட்ட முறைகளையும் பின்பற்றாமல் அனில் அகர்வால் என்ற கார்ப்பரேட் முதலாளியின் லாபத்திற்காக இத்தனை உயிர்களை பலி கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
இப்படி 15 பேர் பட்டப்பகலில் அநியாயமாக சுட்டுக் கொல்லப்பட்டதை நாடே தொலைக்காட்டசியில் பார்த்தது. இன்று சிபிஐ மூன்றாவது இறுதி அறிக்கையில் எந்தப் போலீசும் குற்றவாளியாக சேர்க்கப்படவில்லை. போராடிய மக்கள் 101 பேர் மீதே வழக்கு போட்டுள்ளது.

வழக்கு போட்டுள்ளது சிபிஐ. தமிழக அரசோ இதைப்பற்றி வாய் திறக்காமல் மௌனமாக இருக்கிறது. எல்லா அரசுகளும் கார்ப்பரேட் ஆதரவில் கை கோர்க்கின்றன.
இந்த அரசுகள் கார்ப்பரேட் முதலாளிகளுக்காக தான் வேலை செய்கின்றன. அவர்களின் நலனுக்கான சொந்த நாட்டு மக்களை கொலை செய்கின்றன. தனியார்மயம் தாராளமயம் உலகமயம் என்ற மறுகாலனியாக்க கொள்கையை அமல்படுத்துவதில் இவர்களுக்கு யாருக்கும் எந்த வேறுபாடும் இல்லை.
துப்பாக்கி சூட்டில் இறந்த தன் பிள்ளைகளின் பிணத்தை வாங்காமல், ஸ்டெர்லைட்டை மூடு பிறகு வாங்கி கொள்கிறோம் என நெஞ்சுரத்தோடு நின்ற அந்த பொற்றோர்களிடமிருந்து நாம் போராட்ட குணத்தை கற்று கொள்ள வேண்டும் என தோழர்கள் பேசினார்கள்.

கொரோனா பெருந்தொற்றை இந்த ஒன்றிய அரசு கையாண்ட லட்சணம் நம் அனைவருக்கும் நன்கு தெரியும். கொரோனா முதல் அலையின்போது ஒரு கோடிக்கும் மேற்பட்ட புலம்பெயர் தொழிலாளர்கள் நடைபயணமாகவே தாங்கள் வசிக்கும் இடத்திற்கு சென்றனர். வீட்டிற்கு சென்ற பலர் பசியாலும் உடல் நல பிரச்சினைகளாலும் தங்கள் உயிரை இழந்தனர். அதனால் இன்று அவர்கள் பல மைல்கள் கடந்து வேலை செய்வதை விரும்புவதில்லை.
கொரோனாவின் தொடர்ச்சியான தாக்கத்தாலும் ஆபத்தான மற்றும் உத்தரவாதமற்ற வேலை நிலைமையாலும் புலம்பெயர் தொழிலாளர்கள் பலர் தங்களது கிராமங்களுக்கு அருகிலேயே, கிடைக்கும் வேலைகளை செய்து வருகிறார்கள். குடும்பத்துடன் இருக்க முடிவதால் ஓரளவு மனநிம்மதியை அளிப்பதாக கூறுகின்றனர்.
14 கோடி புலம்பெயர் தொழிலாளர்களில் ஐந்தில் ஒரு பகுதியினர் சில மோசமான வேலை நிலைமைகளை எதிர் கொள்பவர்களாகவும் அவர்கள் எந்த ஒரு ஒப்பந்த முறையிலும் இல்லாதவர்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றன. இவர்களில் ஒரு சில தொழிலாளர்கள் மட்டுமே தொழிற்சங்கங்களில் உறுப்பினர்களாக உள்ளனர்.
பல புலம்பெயர் தொழிலாளர்கள் தொழிற்சங்கங்களில் சேர்வது மிகவும் அரிதாகவே உள்ளது. காரணம், இவர்கள் முறைசாரா வேலைகளில் ஈடுபடுபவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள். முறையான தொழிலாளர்களில் 4% பேர் உடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது, முறைசாரா தொழிலாளர்கள் 23% ஊதியத்தை குறைவாகவே பெறுகின்றனர். 2020-ல் மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில அரசுகள் இவர்களுக்கு ஒரு சில நல திட்டங்களை அமல்படுத்தினாலும் அது மோசமான மற்றும் சீரற்ற முறையிலேயே இருந்தது.
இந்தியாவின் ஜவுளி மையமான சூரத்தில்(குஜராத்), உள்ளூர் ஜவுளி தொழிலாளர்களுக்காக ப்ரவாசி ஷ்ராமிக் சூரக் ஷா மன்ச் என்ற அமைப்பு உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. இது 2020-ல்தான் முறையான தொழிற்சங்கமாக பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டது. இதில் 5000-க்கு மேற்பட்ட தொழிலாளர்கள் உறுப்பினராக உள்ளனர். இந்த அமைப்பு தொழிலாளர்களின் ஒரு சில பிரச்சினைகளை கவனத்தில் கொண்டு அதை தீர்த்து வைத்து வருகிறது. இவ்வாறு புலம்பெயர்ந்த தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு என தொழிற்சங்கங்கள் அமைவது அரிதாகவே உள்ளது. அப்படி அமைந்தாலும் அதில் புலம்பெயர் தொழிலாளர்கள் சேருவதும் இல்லை.
பல மைல்களை கடந்து வந்து வேலை செய்வதை காட்டிலும் தான் வசிக்கும் இடங்களுக்கு அருகாமையில் வேலை செய்வதையே புலம்பெயர் தொழிலாளர்கள் விரும்புகின்றனர். குறைவான சம்பளமாக இருந்தாலும் சரி அவர்கள் தங்கள் குடும்பங்களுடன் வசிப்பதையே விரும்புகின்றனர்.
மேற்சொன்ன நிகழ்வானது பல மில்லியன் கணக்கான புலம்பெயர்ந்த தொழிலாளர்களை ஈர்ப்பதாகவும்; குறிப்பாக மீன்பிடித்தல், விவசாயம் மற்றும் கட்டுமானம் போன்ற துறையில் உள்ள தொழிலாளர்களை ஈர்ப்பதாகவும் சர்வதேச இடப்பெயர்வு மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவர் ராஜன் கூறுகிறார். XLRI – சேவியர் ஸ்கூல் ஆஃப் மேனேஜ்மென்டின் பேராசிரியரான சுந்தர், “வரவிருக்கும் ஆண்டுகளின் சமூக மூலதனம் மிகவும் முக்கியமானதாக மாறும்” என்று கூறுகிறார்.
நம் இந்திய பொருளாதாரத்தின் முதுகெலும்பே தொழிலாளர்கள்தான். ஆனால், இன்று மாநில அரசும், மத்திய அரசும் கார்ப்பரேட்டின் நலன்களுக்காக பல தொழிலாளர்களை கடுமையாக வஞ்சித்து வருகிறது. இருப்பினும் இந்த ஒடுக்குமுறையை எதிர்த்து பல இடங்களில் தொழிலாளர்கள் போராட்டங்களில் ஈடுபடுகின்றனர். இந்தப் போராட்டமானது இத்துடன் நின்றுவிடாமல், நாளை படைக்கவிருக்கும் பாட்டாளி வர்க்க சர்வாதிகாரத்தின் புரட்சியாக மாறவேண்டும்.
During the campaign for the just-concluded urban local body elections, ADMK’s Edappadi Palaniswami had said that Assembly elections could be held in 2024 denoting ‘one nation, one election’. “The DMK regime has got only 27 new moons (amavasyas) to go,” he claimed.

The fascistic RSS-BJP, which is in power under the leadership of Modi, has been carrying out various legal preparatory works and experiments to achieve its Hindu Rashtra goal. The Citizenship Amendment Act, the repeal of the Kashmir’s Special Status, the Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, the Prevention of Love Jihad Act, the Prevention of Religious Conversion Act, the New Education (Saffron) Policy, the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), the NIA, the Property Damage Prevention Act, and the linking of Aadhaar with voter ID can be cited as examples of this.
In line with that, it is now going to implement the ‘One Nation, One Election’. The ‘one nation, one election’ method is to hold simultaneous elections once in five years to the Parliament, Assemblies and local bodies across the country.
From the very beginning, the BJP government has taken several initiatives to bring this about. Speaking on National Voters’ Day this year, Modi said, “One nation, one election is not a topic of discussion; That is the need of the hour; Frequent elections are an impediment to the ‘development’ of the country”.
Since 2014, the BJP, in its election manifesto, has put forward the ‘one nation, one election’ agenda. In 2017, NITI Aayog had formulated plans for its implementation. In 2018, the Law Commission had recommended that certain changes should be made in the Constitution for implementing ‘One Nation, One Election’.
The idea of ‘one nation, one election’ requires a single electoral roll. As a first step towards its implementation, the Modi government passed the Election Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2021 in Parliament late last year which permits linking of voter ID with Aadhaar number.
On March 10, Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra had said, “One Nation One Election is a good suggestion but this needs a change in the constitution. The Election Commission is fully prepared and is capable of conducting simultaneous elections”.
Ever since the Modi government started campaigning for it, a section of BJP opposers said that ‘one nation, one election’ is against the Constitution. Therefore, they were innocently saying that the Modi government will not be able to implement it.
The Election Commission of India is said to be an independent body. The Chief Election Commissioner’s speech makes us feel that ‘there is no need for such a fantasy’. It is against the democratic system for a top government official to express his opinion in favour of the ruling party on a law that has not yet been enacted by the Parliament.

Similarly, on December 18 last year, the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister held an online meeting with Election Commission officials. It became a topic of debate. Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said it was obvious that like the CBI and the ED, the Election Commission was also a captive puppet of the BJP.
The BJP and its supporters have been giving a number of reasons as to why the ‘one nation, one election’ system should be introduced. Every year, there are elections somewhere in the country. The government spends heavily on conducting these elections. As a result, the development work of the country is also affected. It is because of frequent elections that people’s participation in elections is low. They are stacking up lies to make us admit that if elections are held only once in five years, people will vote in large numbers.
First, let’s see how it is a blatant lie to claim that it costs too much to hold elections.
The Centre for Media Studies conducted a survey on election expenditure. A total of ₹30,000 crore was spent on the 2014 elections. This expenditure is the total expenditure incurred by the government, political parties and the candidates together. Of this, the government spending was just ₹3,500 crore, i.e., only 11 percent of the total cost.
Although this is only for parliamentary elections, it can be seen from this that the total election expenditure of the government is relatively low.
But since Modi came to power, the total amount of non-performing assets (NPAs) that had been written off is ₹10,72,000 crore. They are saying that it is because of the conduction of elections that the coffers are being emptied.
A total of ₹60,000 crore has been spent on the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Of this, 45 per cent, i.e., ₹27,000 crore, is spent by the BJP alone. It may be because of this, they say that elections cost too much!
Next, let’s see how ‘development works’ get affected. We have to accept this point. Before that, we need to define what according to the BJP is ‘development work’. With clusters of farmer suicides, unemployment unseen in 45 years and the annihilation of small scale industries — the Modi regime is a hell for the working people.
GST, demonetisation, Bharatmala, Sagarmala, methane gas project, expansion of nuclear power plant, amendment to the farm laws, privatisation of public sector, waiver of lakhs of crores of bad loans, tax concessions for the corporates, etc., are some of the things that the Modi government is doing to make the corporate bosses delighted. This is what they call ‘development work’.
According to a statistics, Adani’s net worth rose by 261 percent in 2020-2021 alone. Similarly, the number of super-rich people in India has risen by 39 percent. The BJP’s regret is that there may not be a steady growth in these ‘development works’ due to frequent elections.
Take, for example, the implementation of the farm laws. The farm laws were brought in to bail out the corporate capitalists and carve out the Indian agriculture among them. The farmers fought against this for a year. In this struggle, 750 farmers became martyrs.
Modi, however, has withdrawn the farm laws just because elections in five states are due (even if this is just another reason). This has led to Modi’s friends (Ambani and Adani) getting mad at him. That is why it is necessary for the BJP to wipe out frequent elections.
While the frequently held elections are not conducive to the interests of their patrons, the Brahmin-Bania corporate clique, on one hand, it is also inconsistent with the RSS’s definition of ‘Bharat Desh’ on the other hand.
After the 1947 regime change, the RSS was the only organisation that opposed the reorganization of states on the basis of language and the creation of state governments. Their leader Golwalkar, in his book ‘Bunch of Thoughts’, said, “For the integrity of our holy motherland, a Unitary State – One Country, One Legislature, One Executive Centre running the administration throughout the country – is required”
The state governments, which represent different nationalities and have certain powers in their hands, are against the Hindu Rashtra Authority Centre. The territory had to change again into various princely states as it had been, prior to the British domination; There should be a local authority at the village level. The form of the Hindu Rashtra state is that there should be a single empire that controls all those village powers. It was in this form that the brahmanical caste tyranny and feudal exploitation were preserved for over two thousand years.
Even though they say that elections once in five years, the aim of the RSS-BJP is to abolish elections altogether and establish its fascist dictatorship – The Hindu Rashtra. ‘One Nation, One Election’ is just a beginning.
A 2015 study by the IDFC Institute found “a 77% chance that the winning political party or alliance will win both the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in that state when held simultaneously”. Because during the nationwide elections, only national issues will be discussed. Many scholars have been saying that the people will focus their attention only on the national issues.
From the very beginning, the RSS-BJP has instilled in the minds of the majority the idea that only Modi, with a 56-inch chest, has the power to thwart attacks from ‘Muslim terrorists’ at home and attacks by Pakistan and China from the outside.
Moreover, as of now, no party leader has the image of a ‘saviour’ who can challenge Modi. It was for the same reason that Modi won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections again. The Pulwama attack was of good use to the BJP at that time. It is not possible to defeat the jingoism and religious bigotry that the RSS-BJP whips up in every election, by standing within the elections.
Both legally and illegally, the RSS-BJP is in the final stages of its work in establishing its dream of Hindu Rashtra barbarianism. “One nation, one election’’ is a part of the legal process.
We are living in the imminent peril of establishment of a fascist dictatorship. It is time for the electoral parties, who are strategising ‘how to defeat the BJP in the upcoming election’, and the people who consider this pseudo-democracy as stable by saying “the Constitution cannot be shaken”, should wake up from their dreams.

கடந்த 2018, மே 22 வரலாற்றில் மறக்க முடியாத நாள். வேதாந்தா என்ற நிறுவனத்திற்கு எதிராக அமைதியான வழியில் போராடிய தூத்துக்குடி மக்களை ஸ்டெர்லைட்டின் அடியாளாக நின்று இந்த அரசு 15 பேரை சுட்டு படுகொலை செய்த நாள்.
கார்ப்பரேட்டுக்கு எதிராக இதுபோன்ற நிகழ்வுகள் உலகம் முழுவதும் நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. நமது நாட்டில் நாம் வாழுகின்ற பகுதியில் நடைபெற்ற இந்த போராட்டத்தை, அரசின் படுகொலைகளை நாம் மறக்க முடியாது.
கார்ப்பரேட்டுக்கு எதிராக எப்படி போராடினால் அவனை பணிய வைக்க முடியும்? கார்ப்பரேட்டுக்கும் அரசுக்கும் உள்ள தொடர்பு என்ன? கார்ப்பரேட்டின் நலனை பாதுகாப்பதற்காகத் தான் அரசு இருக்கின்றது என்பனவற்றை தூத்துக்குடி மக்களின் வீரம்செறிந்த போராட்டம் நமக்கு உணர்த்து பாடம்.

The streets of the island of Sri Lanka are being shaken by popular protests. Working people have taken revenge on fascist Mahinda Rajapaksa, who sent his thugs to a vacant lot, attacked peaceful protesters and set fire to protest camps. Rajapaksa’s ancestral residence in Hambantota, his official house in Colombo and many other places have been set on fire due to public anger. Rajapaksa party cadres are being beaten and chased across the country.
Mahinda Rajapaksa, who fanaticized the Sinhalese people with ethnic hatred and massacred the Eelam Tamils en masse, has resigned and fled and is unable to say where he is.
Those who have narrated that “there is no possibility of class unity beyond the ethnic issue in Sri Lanka” are now worried about the future of their ethnicity politics. Working people from all walks of life, Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims and Christians, are fighting hand in hand.
All the ethnic-religious fanaticism that the ruling class has perpetuated over the years to protect its own interests is now being cleared up in the course of the class struggle.
While all this encourages us, it is a bitter truth that the imperialists have limited this to their purpose, in the absence of the leadership of a revolutionary party to take the popular uprising to the next level.
The cause of Sri Lanka’s current political-economic crisis is not only the failure of the neo-liberal policy implemented in the country in the 1970s; It is the result of the ongoing rivalry between the US and China in the South Asian region.
The US-led Western imperialists have deliberately intensified the foreign exchange crisis in order to overthrow the pro-Chinese Rajapaksa government and bring their loyalists to power.
We explained this in an article in Puthiya Jananayagam (New Democracy) Tamil magazine last October, entitled “Sri Lanka reeling under debt: Western imperialists desperate to dominate by intensifying the crisis!” Since there was no revolutionary party with a popular base in Sri Lanka to intervene and influence the spontaneous people’s struggle, the US program was progressing successfully from the outset. The US used the struggle to create a crisis for the Rajapaksa clique.
The majority of the ruling class media has consistently echoed the one-sided notion that Sri Lanka is facing the economic crisis because of China’s debt trap. Opposition parties in the United States have blamed Mahinda Rajapaksa’s pro-China policies for the crisis.
The failure of the neo-liberal policy is not the talk of the masses except the Left and the Liberal Democrats. Since then, US’s actions to exacerbate the crisis have not been exposed. The protest was therefore limited to demanding Gotabaya’s resignation – “Gota Go Home”. The United States used this.
At one point, Mahinda Rajapaksa fell at the feet of the United States and surrendered in order to maintain his rule. And he accepted the United States’ sentence.
Mahinda Rajapaksa initially rejected the opposition’s idea of borrowing from the IMF to recover from the economic crisis, but later set up a committee of his own to negotiate with the IMF.
Ajith Nivard Cabraal, a Chinese loyalist and close friend of Rajapaksa, who was the governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, was ousted and replaced by Nandalal Weerasinghe, a former IMF executive. Dismissed Ajith Nivard Cabraal was strongly opposed to borrowing from the IMF; He was the one who encouraged borrowing from China.
Mahinda Rajapaksa reshuffled his cabinet on April 18 in the name of ‘tackling the economic crisis’ to dispel the stigma among the people such as “family rule” and “corrupt rule”. A new cabinet of 17 members was formed and Basil, Chamal and Namal Rajapaksa were left out.
In the parliament, Mahinda surrendered, and said that the delay in borrowing from the IMF was wrong and that the crisis was due to some of his wrong decisions.
But people are not ready to believe any of these dramas. The struggles for the resignation of the Prime Minister and the President continued.
Despite his surrender, the United States did not help Rajapaksa because he had lost the moral support of the people and was not ready to fully trust the Rajapaksa mob. In talks with the IMF, it was agreed to pay between $ 300 million to $ 600 million, but the funds were not released until Rajapaksa’s resignation. In this way, the United States intensified the crisis.
Despite pro-US Ranil Wickremesinghe was appointed as Prime Minister, Gotabaya Rajapaksa continues to be the President. Mahinda Rajapaksa congratulated the new Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. By connecting all this, we can understand that a pre-planned conspiracy is being orchestrated.
Gotabaya did not invite Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, who said that he would agree to an interim government if Gotabaya agreed to step down within a specified period; Instead, he made Ranil Wickremesinghe, the only MP of his party, as the Prime Minister.
None of the opposition parties accepted this. They have ignored Gotabaya’s call for the opposition to come forward to support Ranil Wickremesinghe’s government. Because the people did not abandon the demand for the resignation of Gotabaya as President. The struggles still continue. No one ever had the courage to go beyond the mood of the people and act opportunistically.
But the United States, the mastermind of the game, has welcomed Ranil Wickremesinghe. US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chung has said that “Ranil’s appointment as PM, and the quick formation of an inclusive government, are first steps to addressing the crisis & promoting stability. We encourage meaningful progress at the IMF & long-term solutions that meet the needs of all Sri Lankans”.
Not only the United States but also India as a regional power was trying to take advantage of this crisis. For this purpose, food items, essential items including petrol and diesel, were sent to the country. It has lent more than $ 3 billion to Sri Lanka since the beginning of this year.
A day after Ranil’s inauguration (13.05.2022), Gopal Baglay has been appointed as High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka and the Modi government had held talks with Ranil Wickremesinghe. A deal may have been struck to allow Ambani-Adani in looting Sri Lanka in return for India’s aid.
Therefore, there has been no change in the structure of government or in selling the country to the imperialists, except that the US-backed puppet regime in Sri Lanka has taken responsibility instead of China.
We are hearing that the people’s struggles are continuing for the resignation of Gotabaya. Yes, the demands of the protests are limited only to Gotabaya’s resignation. Nevertheless, the ruling classes are appalled by the class unity that has evolved by breaking up the ethnic divide through these struggles. State repression is accelerated.
At the beginning of the protest, the Sri Lankan military said it “supported” the peaceful protests against the government. The US ambassador also expressed support for the protests. But after people retaliated against Rajapaksa’s violence, they have been shouting that ‘violent people’ should be suppressed. The main reason for statements like this is because that their project was successful.
But the question we need to consider is whether these insurgent people’s struggles are advancing towards a revolution. The answer is no. Perhaps if the struggle intensifies, Gotabaya may resign to quell it. If not, the struggle will be brought to an end. The revolutionary forces must take full responsibility for this plight.
Whether it was the Arab Spring in countries like Egypt and Tunisia, or the pink wave of neo-liberal policies in Latin American countries, they brought about regime change. The existing state structure was not overthrown and a revolution to establish a people’s state did not happen.
Sri Lankan situation teaches us that no matter how utterly the objective crises erupt, no matter how favorable they may be to the revolution, there can be no social change without a revolutionary Communist Party that can lead the people. The world proletariat is longing for a revolutionary Marxist-Leninist party with a popular base; Even Sri Lanka too is longing.

இதில் விட்டிலாபுரத்தை சேர்ந்த முருகன், நாட்டார் குளத்தை சேர்ந்த விஜய் ஆகிய இரு தொழிலாளர்கள் காயங்களுடன் மீட்கப்பட்டு அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டனர். உயிருக்குப் போராடிக் கொண்டிருந்த இளையார்குளத்தை சேர்ந்த செல்வத்தை மீட்டு அரசு ஆஸ்பத்திரிக்கு கொண்டு செல்லும் வழியிலேயே அவர் உயிரிழந்தார்.
ஆயர்குளத்தை சேர்ந்த லாரி டிரைவர் முருகனின் உடலும் எடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அடுத்தடுத்த நாட்களில் தச்சநல்லூர் ஊருடையான் குடியிருப்பு பகுதியை சேர்ந்த லாரி டிரைவர் ராஜேந்திரன், காக்கைகுளம் பகுதியை சேர்ந்த செல்வகுமார் உடல் பிணமாக கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்டது. தொடர்ந்து பாறைகள் சரிவதாலும், மழை பெய்து கொண்டிருப்பதாலும் மீட்பு பணியில் சிக்கல் ஏற்பட்டிருப்பதாக அதிகாரிகள் கூறுகின்றனர்.
இக்கோர சம்பவம் நடைபெற்றதை கேள்விப்பட்டு சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதி மக்கள் ஒன்று கூடினர். அவர்களை அப்பகுதிக்குள் வரவிடாமல் தடுத்த போலீசுத்துறை போராட்டம் செய்தவர்களை கைது செய்தது. அவர்களின் வாகனங்களையும் பறிமுதல் செய்தது. இவ்வளவு தூரம் போலீசுத்துறை கடமையாற்றுவதற்கான காரணம் இந்த கல்குவாரி காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியை சேர்ந்த ஒருவருக்கு சொந்தமானது என்கிறார்கள் மக்கள்.
பாதிக்கப்பட்ட அனைவரும் கூலி ஏழைத் தொழிலாளர்கள். 30 அடி தோண்ட வேண்டும் என்கிற விதிகளை மீறி சுமார் 400 அடி வரை தோண்டப்பட்ட இந்த கல்குவாரியில் மலைகளை உடைத்து கிரசர் இயந்திரத்தின் மூலம் ஜல்லியாகவும், எம்சாண்ட் மணலாகவும் எடுக்கும் பணி இரவு பகலாக நடைபெற்று கொண்டிருந்தது.
சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதி மக்கள், சட்ட விதிகளை மீறி தொடர்ந்து வெடி வைப்பதால் வீடுகளில் நில அதிர்வுகள் ஏற்படுவதாகவும், சுற்றுச்சூழல் மாசடைவதாகவும் அதனால் கல்குவாரிக்கு தடைவிதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று பலமுறை அதிகாரிகளிடம் முறையிட்டும் பலனில்லை. காரணம் கல்குவாரியின் கொள்ளையில் கனிமவளத்துறை அதிகாரிகளுக்கும் பங்கு இருப்பதுதான்.
ஆனால், சம்பவம் நடந்தபிறகு தங்களை யோக்கியவான் போல காட்டிக் கொண்டு போலீசுத்துறை மூலம் குத்தகைதாரர்களை மட்டும் கைது செய்தது அதிகாரவர்க்கம்.
இன்று உலகையே தன்பிடிக்குள் கொண்டு வந்திருக்கின்றனர் கார்ப்பரேட் முதலாளிகள். காடு, மலை, கனிம வளங்கள், இயற்கை, மனிதன் என அனைத்தையும் தன்னுடைய இலாபவெறிக்காக விழுங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். அதற்கு ஏற்றார்போல் ஆளும் பாசிச அரசுகளும் இவை அனைத்தையும் கார்ப்பரேட்டுகளுக்கு காவு கொடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். சட்டங்களும் அவ்வாறே திருத்தி எழுதப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
இவ்வாறு தான் போட்டுக் கொண்ட சட்டங்களை தானே மதிக்காமல் நடந்து கொள்வதோடு, உழைக்கும் மக்களின் வாழ்க்கையையும் பலி கொடுத்துக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறது அரசு. இந்த அரசுகளை நம்பாமல் இயற்கையையும் மனிதர்களையும் காக்க மக்கள் களத்தில் இறங்குவது ஒன்றுதான் தீர்வாக இருக்க முடியும்.
வட மாநிலங்களில் இந்துப் பண்டிகையின் போது முஸ்லீம் சிறுபான்மை மக்கள் மீது திட்டமிட்ட வன்முறை வெறியாட்டங்களை நடத்தியது காவிக் கும்பல். ராம நவமி, நவராத்திரி, அனுமன் ஜெயந்தி என பல பண்டிகைகளை கொண்டு கலவரங்களை தூண்டும் ஓர் புதிய நடவடிக்கையை கையாளத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது.
இந்த காவி பயங்கரவாதிகளின் அடுத்துக்கட்டப் பாய்ச்சலாக இருக்கும் இந்த செயல்திட்டங்கள் வடமாநிலம் முழுவதும் எப்படி அரங்கேற்றப்பட்டது என்ற புள்ளிவிபரங்களுடன் இந்த காணொலியில் விளக்குகிறார் புமாஇமுவின் மாநில ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் தோழர் துணைவேந்தன்.
Perarivalan released; Release all! Including Nalini, Murugan, Santhan!
Perarivalan has finally been acquitted by the Supreme Court. He was jailed at the age of 18 and released on parole a few months ago after thirty years. He was one among the many who were made scapegoat to save Indian dignity. He was convicted without any evidence for buying battery for Rajiv’s murder. “We intimidated him and recorded a false confession”, the CBI officials who investigated the case said. They also said that this was a fabricated case.
The people of Tamil Nadu are happy to hear about Perarivalan’s release. How many protests have been held to stop the execution of seven accused in Rajiv’s murder! Comrade Senkodi Eluvar of the Kancheepuram Makkal Mandram set herself on fire to stop the execution.
We have waged many struggles on behalf of People’s Art and Literary Association, Revolutionary Student-Youth Front, the New Democratic Labour Front, Women’s Liberation Front and the Peasants Liberation Front, emphasizing that the release of the seven is politically correct. It is noteworthy that we besieged the High Court (on the day of the verdict) and demanded the abolition of the death sentence of the seven.
Democratic forces in Tamil Nadu and all Tamil organizations held a series of protests for the release of the seven. The release of the seven was the demand of the entire people of Tamil Nadu. In particular, Perarivalan’s mother Arputhammal had dedicated her life to the release of her son. It is noteworthy that the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party acted against the release of the seven.
Due to the continuous struggles of the Tamil people, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha passed a resolution in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly in 2014 and 2016 to release all seven. The governor and the Union government did not even pay any attention to these resolutions. Finally, under Article 142 of the Constitution, the Supreme Court has now released Perarivalan in 2022.
The Supreme Court itself has inevitably been forced to admit that the seven, including Perarivalan, have been unjustly imprisoned for many years. The governor and the union government, who for all these years ridiculed people’s struggles, legislative assembly resolutions, and the sacrifice of Senkodi, are to blamed. In particular, the post of governor, which does not respect the resolution of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly should be abolished.
Sanjay Dutt, who was arrested in the Mumbai blasts case, was released by the state government while the Tamil Nadu government could not release the seven. The Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who were in power at the Centre, had continuously blocked the release of the seven Tamils. The fact is that the state and union governments have been competing and blaming each other and thereby delaying the release of Perarivalan.

Textile units in Erode, Tiruppur, Karur and Salem are on a two-day strike to protest against the price hike.. People’s power supports this strike.
The price of a candy (356 kg of cotton) in January, 2022 was ₹76,000 and it has now increased to Rs 1,05,000. Similarly, the price of yarn has gone up.
The textile industry has been hit hard by rising cotton and yarn prices. Manufacturing companies across Tamil Nadu, including Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Karur, Erode, Namakkal and Salem, have been hit hard by rising prices. Thirty-six unions, including the Tirupur Exporters’ Association and the South Indian Banyan Manufacturers’ Association, have joined the strike. As a result, more than 8,000 companies have ceased operations.

Some of the demands put forth by the associations include controlling the cotton and yarn prices, banning cotton export, supplying cotton to spinning mills through Cotton Corporation of India and bringing cotton under essential commodities list.
The Cotton Corporation of India has alleged that millions of bales were hoarded since cotton trade is not properly regulated. The price of cotton has gone up due to artificial scarcity.
People’s Power supports the strike of textile units condemning the rise in yarn and cotton prices.
The Union government should immediately curb hoarding of yarn and cotton and thereby stopping the price rise caused by artificial scarcity. The Cotton Corporation of India should regulate the cotton trade.
Already, the prices of rice, pulses, oil, tomatoes, onions and other essential food items that people use every day, petrol, diesel and gas cylinder prices are increasing day by day. The Union government has not taken any action to control it. So the poor and the middle class have been pushed to the point where they can no longer live.
The Modi government has been working to destroy micro, small and medium scale enterprises since its inception in 2014. Today, if the price of cotton and yarn rises, many small and medium size cotton manufacturers will become non-functional and the workers will become jobless. சங்கி கூட்டத்தையே மிஞ்சி கூவும் தொல்லியல் துறை அதிகாரி !
ஒன்றிய அரசின் தொல்லியல் துறையில் (ஏ.எஸ்.ஐ) பணியாற்றி ஓய்வுபெற்ற அதிகாரியான தரம்வீர் சர்மா, புதிதாக மதக் கலவரத்தை தூண்டும் வகையில் தகவலை வெளியிட்டுள்ளார். அதில் அவர், “குதுப்மினார் கோபுரம், டெல்லியின் சுல்தான்களில் ஒருவரான குத்புதீன் ஐபக்கால் கட்டப்பட்டது இல்லை” என்று குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
மேலும், இது குறித்து தரம்வீர் சர்மா வெளியிட்ட அறிக்கையில், “டெல்லியிலிருப்பது குதுப்மினார் இல்லை, அது குதுப்-அல்-தீன் ஐபக்கால் கட்டப்பட்டவும் இல்லை. அது, ஐந்தாம் நூற்றாண்டில் வாழ்ந்த மன்னர் விக்ரமாதித்யாவால் கட்டப்பட்டது. சூரியன் இடம் மாறும் திசையை அறிய கட்டியதால் அதன் பெயர் சூரியக் கோபுரம் ஆகும். ஏ.எஸ்.ஐ சார்பில் நான் அங்கு ஆய்வு செய்தபோது அதற்கான பல ஆதாரங்கள் கிடைத்துள்ளன.
இந்த சூரியக் கோபுரம் செங்குத்தாக இல்லாமல் 25 அங்குலம் அளவில் சாய்ந்திருக்கும். இந்த சாய்வானது சூரியனின் திசையை அறிய அமைக்கப்பட்டது. ஜூன் 21-ம் நாளில் அரை மணி நேரத்திற்கு அதன் நிழல் கீழே விழாது. அறிவியல் ரீதியாகக் கட்டப்பட்ட அந்தக் கோபுரம் ஒரு தொல்பொருள் சான்றாகும். அந்த கோபுரமானது ஒரு தனிக்கட்டிடமே தவிர அருகிலுள்ள மசூதியுடன் அதற்கு எந்த தொடர்பும் கிடையாது” எனத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
இந்த தொல்லியல் துறை அதிகாரி ஓய்வு பெற்றுவிட்டார். தான் பணியாற்றிய காலத்தில் செய்த ஆய்வில் இதற்கான ஆதாரங்கள் கிடைத்ததாக தற்போது பேசுபவர், ஏன் இதற்கு முன்பு இதை பற்றி பேசவில்லை. ஏன் அதை ஆய்வு பூர்வமாக நிரூபிக்கவில்லை என்று கேள்விகள் எதார்த்தமாக எழுகிறது?
ஒரு வாரத்திற்கு முன்புதான் சங்கி கூட்டம் குதுப்மினார் முன்பு போராட்டம் நடத்தியது அதில் குதுப்மினார் பெயரை விஷ்ணுமினார் என மாற்ற வேண்டும் காரணம் அது இந்துக் கோயிலை இடித்து கட்டப்பட்டது என பேசினார்கள்.
சங்கிக் கூட்டம் கோவிலை இடித்துவிட்டு தான் மசூதி கட்டினார்கள் என்று பேசினால் இந்த அதிகாரி குதுப்மினார் கட்டிடத்தை கட்டியதே இந்து மன்னர்தான் என சங்கி கூட்டத்தையே மிஞ்சி கூவுகிறார்.
அடுத்ததாக, உத்தரப்பிரதேசம் வாரணாசியின் கியான்வாபி மசூதி, மதுராவின் ஷாயி ஈத்கா மசூதி, ஆக்ராவின் தாஜ்மஹால் மற்றும் கர்நாடகாவின் ஜாமா மசூதி ஆகிய பிரச்சினைகளிலும் அடுத்து இதை எதிர்பார்க்கலாம்.
பாபர் மசூதியை போன்று ஆய்வு என்று உள்ளே போவார்கள், பின்பு ஆய்வில் எதுவும் நிரூபணம் ஆகாததால் இந்து மனசாட்சி! இந்துக்களின் நம்பிக்கை! என்று பேசி நீதிமன்றமே தீர்ப்பு வழங்குவார்கள். இன்று நடக்கக்கூடிய குதுப்மினாராகட்டும், தாஜ்மஹாலாகட்டும், கியான் வாபியாகட்டும் இதைப்பற்றி எல்லாம் முதலில் பொய்ப் பிரச்சாரத்தை கிளப்பி அதை கலவரமாக வளர்த்தெடுத்து பின்பு இதுதான் இந்து நம்பிக்கை என்று சொல்லி நீதிமன்றமும் பாபர் மசூதி பிரச்சினையைபோல் வீட்டை இடித்தவனுக்கே வீடு சொந்தம் என தீர்ப்பு வழங்கும்.

இந்த காவிக் கும்பலுக்கு இந்து மக்கள் நலனில் உள்ள அக்கறையினாலா இதையெல்லாம் செய்கிறார்கள். இல்லை, இல்லவே இலலை. பெரும்பான்மையான இந்து மக்களின் உழைப்பை சுரண்டுவது, கார்ப்பரேட்டுகளுக்கு அடிமைப்படுத்துவது ஆகிய வேலைகளைத்தான் செய்து வருகிறார்கள்.
விவசாயத்தை அழிக்கிறார்கள்; இயற்கை வளங்களை அழிக்கிறார்கள்; யாருக்காக? குறைவான விலைக்கு கச்சா எண்ணெய் கிடைக்கும் போதும் பெட்ரோல் – டீசல் விலையை ஏற்றினார்கள்; யாருக்காக?
இன்று நாடே கார்ப்பரேட் சூரையாடலுக்கு பலியாக்கப்பட்டு; வேலையின்மை, பசி, பட்டினி கொடுமைகளுக்கு ஆட்பட்டு; கல்வி, மருத்துவம் என அனைத்தும் சேவைத்துறைகளும் தனியார் வசம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டு; நாடே சுடுகாடாகி வரும் வேளையில் இதை எதிர்த்து மக்கள் ஒன்று திரண்டு விடக் கூடாது என்பதற்காகவே மதவெறியை தூண்டி மக்களை பிளவுபடுத்த நினைக்கிறது காவி – கார்ப்பரேட் பாசிசக் கும்பல்.
இலங்கையில் இதேபோல்தான் நாட்டை கார்ப்பரேட் கும்பலின் சூரையாடலுக்கு அனுமதித்துக் கொண்டே இனவெறியை தூண்டினார்கள். இனப்படுகொலையை நிகழ்த்தினார்கள். ஆனால், இன்று மக்களை நடுத்தெருவில் நிறுத்தி விட்டார்கள்; இதுதான் அவர்களின் போலி முகமூடி.
அதே முகமூடியைதான் இந்த ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ் – பா.ஜ.க கும்பலும் அணிந்து உள்ளது. ஆதலால், இந்த காவி – கார்ப்பரேட் பாசிசத்தை வீழ்த்த அனைத்து மக்களும் ஒன்றுபட்டு நிற்பதுவே தீர்வு. அதற்காக பாசிச எதிர்ப்பு மக்கள் முன்னணியை கட்டியமைப்போம்.

“Suicide of a brother-sister due to poverty, a photographer’s suicide due to dismissal, a farmer’s death due to debt, a young man hanged due to unemployment”– suicides have become daily news.
Rajiv Tomar owns a shoe shop in Uttar Pradesh. After implementation of GST tax collection system by Modi government, he faced a severe crisis in his business. The lockdown due to Corona pandemic, which was announced in 2020, had further intensified the industrial crisis and made him a debtor.
In February last year, he was talking about the loss of his business on a Facebook live. He suddenly attempted suicide by consuming poison. His wife, who was nearby, tried to stop him but she could not. So she too consumed poison. His wife died during treatment.
Before committing suicide, he cried on Facebook Live and said: “I think I have the freedom to speak. I will pay the debts I have. Even if I die, I will pay. But I request everyone to please share this video as much as possible. I am not an ‘anti-national’ but I want to tell Modi ji, you are not a well-wisher of small traders and farmers. Change your policies.”
Like the proverb “You may know by a handful the whole sack” says, this is not an isolated incident. Between 2018 and 2020 alone, 25,000 people have committed suicide in frustration due to debt and business crises and unemployment. This is the figure provided by the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs himself to a question raised by the opposition in the Budget Session.
Between 2018 and 2020, 9,140 people committed suicide due to unemployment and 16,091 due to debt or business losses, according to figures provided by the National Crime Records Bureau.
In 2020 alone, there have been a large number of suicides. It was in that year that the lockdown was imposed due to corona pandemic. During that period, 3,548 people committed suicide due to unemployment or loss of jobs and 5,213 due to debt burden.
Demonetisation by the Modi government in 2016, followed by the introduction of GST tax collection system in 2017 drove many out of small business. Many committed suicide out of fear of how to run their lives and how to pay off their debts. According to a study conducted by the Azim Premji University, 50 lakh people lost their jobs during this period.
According to this study, there was a 6 per cent increase in job losses (due to GST and demonetisation) in 2018, the highest in a decade.

According to a 2017-18 report by the National Sample Survey Office, unemployment rose to a 45-year high of 6.1 percent. The truth is that the corona lockdown has only intensified these existing crises.

It is our tax money that is being poured to the corporate bosses as capital debts and tax concessions. Their capital expands only by buying down the public sector, which has flourished with our sweat. It is the Modi government that is arranging all this in the name of the State. There is no end to all this misery without overthrowing this demonic fascist rule.

அதிமுக அரசு இறுதிவரை தனிச்சட்டம் இயற்றக் கூடாது என்பதில் பிடிவாதமாக இருந்து கார்ப்பரேட் சேவை செய்தது மட்டுமல்ல; துப்பாக்கிச்சூட்டிலும் அடக்குமுறையிலும் ஈடுபட்ட போலீசுக்காரர்களையும் அதிகாரிகளையும் பாதுகாத்தது.
